I hadn't heard of this guy, but after reading the capsule summary about him on DraftDaddy, I feel like it's deja vu all over again. Let's see, rushed for over 6,000 yards and 103 TDs in high school and has sub 4.6 speed, yet was recruited as a "fullback" by Illinois. As if that didn't give it away, Bolen was supposed to be another "Mike Alstott" for the Illini. Only problem is, they only let him carry the ball 11 times as a freshman, so he transferred to Louisville.Looks like yet another potentially great running back is going to be denied an opportunity solely because of his race. Here's DraftDaddy's comments followed by a scouting report that notes "Not once did I see Brock go down on the first hit. He has exceptional balance and vision as well as an awesome stiff arm that more than a few defenders were on the receiving end of." Obviously a natural fullback.

FB Brock Bolen ~ Louisville via Illinois -- When Illinois signed this 235 pounder with surprising speed and toughness they envisioned he'd be another Mike Alstott for them. He just really didn't get the chance he wanted, so he left UI after his freshman season. Was regarded as the top prep fullback prospect in the nation by many publications after rushing for over 6,000 yards and scoring an amazing 103 TD's in high school. Played briefly for the Illini in 2004 as a true freshman, running the ball 11 times for 52 yards. With Michael Bush starting, don't expect Bolen to get the majority of rushes, but the Cards would be absolutely foolish if they didn't incorporate this redshirt sophomore into their offense this season. Too talented, powerful and speedy (sub 4.6) to be a J.A.B.B. -- Just Another Blocking Back.

Plain and simple, 6-foot, 230-pound athlete, Brock Bolen is one of the most talented and devastating athletes we've seen on film this year.

Bolen rushed for 2,287 yards and scored 43 touchdowns for Germantown (Ohio) Valley View in 2002. He was named 2nd team all-state as a junior and was named a (Junior) All-American by Student Sports.

Brock is equally talented as a linebacker and could play on either side of the ball at the next level. His highlight tape starts out with him running stairs in the off season. It's easy to see that this young man hasn't missed many workouts.

Bolen is a ripped 230-pounds and on film he uses that body to run over would be tacklers. Not once did I see Brock go down on the first hit. He has exceptional balance and vision as well as an awesome stiff arm that more than a few defenders were on the receiving end of.

College recruiters are looking for running backs that are constantly in a forward lean and don't give the defense much of a target. Bolen has this technique down to a science, his feet are constantly moving after first contact and he has enough athleticism to make defenders miss.

Brock has terrific hands, showing he can catch the ball out the backfield as well as down field running different routes.

Athletic, tough, hard-nosed, nasty, intimidating and competitive are the best words to describe this All-American candidate.

Michigan State, Wisconsin, Northwestern, Ohio University and Western Kentucky were the schools that offered Bolen a scholarship when we interviewed him on March 19th. We wouldn't be surprised if more schools have offered Brock a scholarship in the past two weeks.

Bolen says that Wisconsin, Purdue, Ohio State, Michigan State, Northwestern, Penn State and South Carolina are his early favorites.

In conclusion, Brock Bolen will be a Midwest "Hot 100" member and will be recommended for The Insiders National "Hot 100" as well.

Wow this guy just sounds like a total beast. If he was black he would be touted as a Jamal Lewis HB keep in mind but becuase he's white they'll regulate him, to caste football Mike Alstott status.

It appearsthe Caste System won't even tolerate any more Mike Alstott "fullbacks" who get to carry the ball periodically, so strong is the agenda of black racial purity at the running back position. CB, that's exactly what Bolen is, a beast, who if he was black every big program in the country would be salivating over.

Another shaft job on a White Brother-I bet the system would love to have him in the Army in a combat zone. We can fight there war's, we just can't play top notch college football, it would upset the New World Order's Plans!!
