Maybe we can separate Favre the man from Favre the player. The player is all-time NFL great and future HOF'er whose accomlishments as a White athlete are at the top of his profession. Favre the man is more of a wigger/black man with his drama queen antics, preference to exclusively play with black WRs, and of course that whole incident with that skank Jenn Sterger (basically a younger version of his wife) is just not the kind of behavior I expect from a White man. That sort of stuff is more par for the course as far as affletes are concerned.

<div>Favre, never in words or in action, indicated a "preference to exclusively play with black WRs." Bill Schroeder was one of just two White WRs starting on the outside in the entire league in the late '90s, and he happened to play for Favre's Packers, and he had one of the best three-year runs of any White WR of the past 25 years. And Favre showed no reluctance to put the ball in the hands of Mark Chmura, who was one of the most prolific receiving tight ends in the NFL when Favre was chucking the ball his way.</div>

<div>In no way, by his style of speaking, dress, or lifestyle, was Brett Favre ever remotely a "wigger." </div>

<div>Yes, he yelled at Bill Schroeder on the field one time after he alligator armed a pass. He is hardly the first White man in this country to take out his anger on a fellow White in a way he wouldn't with a black. And yes, he shamefully let Michael Strahan have the sack record. But he is hardly the only White person in this country to have pandered to blacks. He's human, with his fair share of flaws, in a very flawed society. I've enjoyed his "primma donna" antics, because if not for them there would have been even more air time for Chad Johnson, Terrell Owens, Michael Vick, Vince Young and the rest of the league's many insufferable black players. Favre's a small town guy who's had his share of personal and family problems and overcame them to become an all-time great. The NFL won't be the same without him.</div>
