No offense to Favre fans but I swear on my life I predicted this was going to happen 2 months ago. Stories are coming up about Favre wanting to play this year. I sometimes think Favre makes Terell Owens seem like a nice, not a me first kind of guy. Favre is an ego maniac and a huge drama queen. I knew this was going to happen. Im going to turn on ESPN tonight at 11 pm est. and see how quickly the story comes up. Why does the white race have to have these egomaniacal idiots that make us look bad as a majority of other races?<div>Please Favre crawl under a rock and die. Nobody cares and I seriously hope you dont make the HOF after the 4th year of pulling this crap.</div>

I know what you mean, I often hear blacks saying amongst themselves, "Hey you hear about that Favre wavering on retirement again? He wants to work? Hahaha! Typical cracker behavior!"

Very good points Anak And CS. I grew up watching Clemens and you just know hes lying. Hes no better than Barry Bonds but at least he wasnt a huge management problem like Bonds was. He still should go tp prison like Bonds might and Marion Jones did. Maybe he can teach Wesley Snipes or Willie Mays Hayes to pitch instead of steal bases. lol

Yeah, I'm like you mattharper on Brett Favre, butwith RC. I'm sick and tired of him.Same old story. Why not just admit it, you did it, and spare us all this drama and taxpayer dollars to see thisdrawn out in court. RC is no better than some idiot liberal! Maybe worse! Yes worse!

I couldn't disagree more on both of them. The entire case against Clemens rests on the word of his scumbag former trainer, who he had a falling out with. For more on the scumbag trainer and Clemens' trial, here's an AP story: http://www.boston.com/sports/baseball/articles/2011/07/06/judge_may_limit_testimony/

Clemens entered MLB as a dominating pitcher, and left as one. He was a fanatical workout warrior. He's innocent until proven guilty.

Favre is a drama queen, but he's also an all-time great and the greatest Iron Man of any sport ever. I'll be thrilled if he retires and unretires each NFL season until he's 60. I never want to see an all-time great retire. They're both great White athletes who have conducted themselves well, and don't deserve to receive DWF-type wrath.

Don, you make a good point about RCs' scumbag trainer, but why was RC having him(the scumbag trainer)train him in the first place? I respect what RC did on the field, but again, all he had to do was admit it and itwould have gone away!

The scumbag trainer and atleast2 other respected white MLB players, who have already admitted to being injected by this trainer are consistentwith his testimony!
Don, how many of these people have denied taking steroids and then later admitting to it. The names are endless.

There's an old saying,"when you lay down with dogs, you get up with fleas". Roger's mistake was getting involved with this scumbag trainer.

I could be wrong and if I am, I'll be the first to admit it.

Clemens and the trainer had a falling out, which gives Clemens' version more credibility as far as I'm concerned.

Just because some deny it and later admit it doesn't make Clemens guilty. He was a once in ageneration talent, and he's stuck to his guns that he did it naturally. If he didtake steroidsI'll be very disappointed, but I think he has more integrity than his former friend, the accused rapist/trainer. As has been pointed out in several threads in the Baseball Forum, White players who juiced or have been accused of it take far more grief than their black counterparts. I feel no inclination to join those piling on Roger Clemens without more to go by.Edited by: Don Wassall

I'm with you there. The fact that the media was the first to stir the pot with bogus speculation about Favre's retirement in his peak years made what took place the last few years a humorous "back at cha"Â￾.

I dont mind if he unretires but the man makes a statement and then sits back watching 20 different tv stations as they all broadcast his decision to " maybe" play and he sits back for weeks and soaks up the attention. Im proud of him as a winning white athlete but hes a disgrace when he pulls the same stuff year after year. Just play or dont. Its that simple.

Maybe we can separate Favre the man from Favre the player. The player is all-time NFL great and future HOF'er whose accomlishments as a White athlete are at the top of his profession.

Favre the man is more of a wigger/black man with his drama queen antics, preference to exclusively play with black WRs, and of course that whole incident with that skank Jenn Sterger (basically a younger version of his wife) is just not the kind of behavior I expect from a White man. That sort of stuff is more par for the course as far as affletes are concerned.

Favre, never in words or in action, indicated a "preference to exclusively play with black WRs." Bill Schroeder was one of just two White WRs starting on the outside in the entire league in the late '90s, and he happened to play for Favre's Packers, and he had one of the best three-year runs of any White WR of the past 25 years. And Favre showed no reluctance to put the ball in the hands of Mark Chmura, who was one of the most prolific receiving tight ends in the NFL when Favre was chucking the ball his way.

In no way, by his style of speaking, dress, or lifestyle, was Brett Favre ever remotely a "wigger."

Yes, he yelled at Bill Schroeder on the field one time after he alligator armed a pass. He is hardly the first White man in this country to take out his anger on a fellow White in a way he wouldn't with a black. And yes, he shamefully let Michael Strahan have the sack record. But he is hardly the only White person in this country to have pandered to blacks. He's human, with his fair share of flaws, in a very flawed society. I've enjoyed his "primma donna" antics, because if not for themthere would have beeneven more air time for Chad Johnson, Terrell Owens, Michael Vick, Vince Young and the rest of the league's many insufferable black players. Favre's a small town guy who's had his share of personal and family problems and overcame them to become an all-time great. The NFL won't be the same without him.Edited by: Don Wassall

Don you do make very valid points. You have a good sense of History about you. I even remember when Travis Jervey scored his first NFL td Favre ran over the entire offensive line to jump on him in the endzone. He is no race traitor. ANd Im glad that we agree he is a drama queen but things like this can bring a man down no matter what his athletic accomplishments might be.<div>I may get bbqued over this but I used to respect Derek Jeter in baseball though I am a Red Sox fan. He has always been classy up until last year when he pretended to get hit by a pitch when it clearly hit his bat and he got to first base. Then he had the audacity to want a 3 yeare 75 million contract extension this year. How dare anyone white or black demand this kind of money with our economy in shambles. Whay a loser. ANd so as much as I respect Favre for his past efforts on the gridiron his 4 year antics of wanting to be in the limelight I think makes him look like a classless jerk. If you disagree thats fine. Good luck to Brett in his quest for the HOF.</div>

It's difficult for ANY athlete to retire when they still love playing their sport and feel that they can still contribute. Favre may believe he's retiring after a grueling season but then his body starts feeling better again in the off season and he still wants to play so I've no problem with this. MANY athletes have flip-flopped on retiring but I don't remember any taking the heat Favre has. MJ retired from the NBA like 3 or 4 times and I don't remember there being any fuss about his indecisiveness.

I also like Clemens and have several of his rookie cards. I believe him when he says he didn't do steroids. He's always been a HOF pitcher and he never had a season that was ridiculously good out of the blue like say Bonds hitting 73 HR's in his late 30's...

Lets try it this way JREb. If you saw a videotape of ablack guy shooting a white person in a convenience store robbery you would be pissed. Videotapes dont lie. Why would a scumbag trainer lie when another pitcher Andy Pettite said what everyone already knows. You almost sound like a black person rooting for OJ because he was black. W#ake up to the distinction.

No matter what I think of Favre as a person I've sure had a ball sometimes watching him play. I will never forget the game after his father died.

Don, I have always been in agreement with you about Brett Favre. If healthy I also hope he unretires and maybe suits up with the Dolphins and makes a playoff run. There has always been too much hate on a site which celebrates and promotes the white athlete to have so much disdain for a larger than life iconic white athlete. I really don't know how much of a "wigger" Favre is with him doing all those Wrangler jeans commercials, I have never seen a black guy in a pair of Wranglers!

Pettite never saw Clemens use steroids, he only said that Roger mentioned trying them in a conversation. The trainer could be lying for many reasons like making a deal with prosecutors to avoid jail time for something illegal he did or to try and make money off his claims.

Both Pettite and Chuck Knolblach have both admitted being injected by McNamee(scumbag trainer) and McNamee has said he injected Clemens while being Clemens' trainer. There is other evidence that may or may not come out. I don't like any of this and this will be my last post about RC and this situation. As I've said, I hope I'm wrong, but it just doesn't look good.
It will probablycome down to R. Clemens word vs. B. McNamee word.

The only other thing is, why would someone like Roger Clemens get involved with Brian McNamee? It just doesn't make sense!

Why did Pettite and Knoblach get involved with him if he was such a scumbag?

Personally I think Clemons is guilty because everytime I've defended a white athlete concerning steroids I end up being wrong. So I'm playing it safe this time. But regardless he should be assumed and given every chance to prove, innocence, he's earned it.

I consider myself a "Favre" expert (because I've got him as my avatar) and I find (amazingly) to be in complete agreement with guest301. Let him retire every year and then comeback, it IS revenge for all of those years at his peak that the caste-media hounded him about retirement. HA HA, the jokes on them.

I also concur that any guy that is the spokesman for that whitest of all clothing-Wrangler jeans, cannot possibly be a wigger. And as for his flirtation/affair with Jan Strenger I will repeat what I said at the time....actually no I won't, I don't need the grief from other posters about the personal habits of alpha males. But he's okay in my book (until he praises some thug, berates a white player, or throws an extremely ill timed pick-then I will hate and criticize him).

OK, that was my second to last post about R. Clemens' steriod situation. jaxvid, I only included RC in the question as to why he got involved with B. McNamee, because Pettite and Knolblach, have already admitted being injected by McNamee,(that should answer the question or be one reason)their case is closed. I wish if Clemens did it, he would have just admitted it and it would have been over(maybe). But to answer, they may have, I repeat, may have, because of Clemens(reason #2). Clemens was Pettites hero. I have no idea why any of them became involved with McNamee.(other than for steroids)It's puzzling, but there's a connection, that's a fact.

As I've said I hope I'm wrong, but it doesn't look good for Clemens.
