"Fightnews.com spoke with former two-time heavyweight champion of the world Shannon Briggs... "

Briggs was never a real champion. He never beat anyone who was good. Liakhovich was the only name he ever beat and L. was ahead on all the cards and then he took a dive at the very end.

Yes Briggs' championships should be regarded along the same line as Ric Nature Boy Flairs championship reigns or Hulk Hogans(a total joke).

Ha ha! I didn't think they'd ever test that loud mouthed brain damaged black bum. I could have told them he was juiced to the gills as soon as I saw him and his manic musclebound comeback and that pro wrasslin-style baloney when he was stalking and harassing Wlad - always with a cameraman ready to film all the action, just like those scripted brawls the wrasslers have in the hallways or whatever schtick they're doing these days! Do you think they might even test Joshua now? Nah no chance.

Off hand, I saw Briggs. He looks incredible for his age or younger. Anyone know the consequences of roiding up at age 50? Damn, to look like that, with minimal side effects might be a no brainer. LOL

Pro wrestlers are, or at least they were, I don't know what's going on there now, I think they may have cleaned it up a little, notorious for drug use, and they are also notorious for dying young. But they were doing the roids extremely excessively. Years ago I remember going down to NJ and watching a powerlifting match with my partner, who was the middleweight NY State police powerlifting champion, to watch a powerlifting meet. He was training some of the competitors, and the main attraction seemed to be a gigantic 19 year old. I remember that the competitors were acting roid raged, and once I went in the bathroom which looked like a combo bathroom and shooting gallery. The 19 year old died shortly afterwards, and my partner - I suppose he was juicing because I never saw another Filipino that big and muscular - had a lot of heart troubles and passed away a couple of years ago. My other partner was the superheavyweight powerlifting champ in the same thing, and I think he was juicing too - he had like an unaturally deep voice - - I never talked about it with either of them nor have I ever had the slightest interest in touching it myself - and he came to a very sad end - and, oh, I was the heavyweight boxing champ, so we made a pretty cool threesome. Maybe moderate use isn't so bad I don't know. Look on weight lifting and bodybuilding forums. They talk about it a lot. Starting at age 50? Doesn't sound like a great idea but I dunno. Maybe moderate use is good for you for all I know. Write to Briggs on his Twitter site - tho he's probably ranting there about how he dindunuffin right now.

Ustinov may get to fill in for the brain damaged Briggs and I think that would be excellent because Fury stood up Ustinov for their big fight and never offered him a rematch - and Oquendo has been screwed so many times by crooked judges and refs, but it's really way too late for him now.

Here is Ustinov's fight a couple of days ago. The ref should have stopped it after about 30 seconds.

True story years ago I saw a weightlifter who was Filipino and he was so enormous for a Malay I assumed he was Samoan or another Polynesian, it was only after he spoke his native language to a female that I figured out his ethnicity.

Steroid abusers can put on enormous size if they train hard and eat right. The Briggs situation is a total mess, but unlike Lucas Browne's first failed test I won't believe any conspiracy theories coming out Briggs' shaggy goatee.

Yes Ustinov is probably getting bumped up to a fight with Oquendo and has a good chance to snag this portion of a title.

Heart attacks are a side effect of steroid abuse. The late UFC heavyweight champion Kevin Randleman died of a massive heart attack at 44(Randleman made Briggs look like he needed to "hit the gym"). Here's a https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mtnFhMlbuXE a fight of his.

Ps here is an interview before he died he looked as fit as fiddle.....www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZYnjUKsY0yw
I met Kevin Randleman at a Strikeforce event, in 06 I believe (it was the inaugural SF event- Frank Shamrock vs Cesar Gracie).

Really, really nice guy. He was signing autographs, and just sitting around and talking to everybody. Now granted he is more of a "pioneer legend" who helped make the sport, than a known celebrity fighter, but it was still pretty cool seeing a fighter so friendly (unlike Ken Shamrock who is an ass).

Still Randleman is the poster boy for steroid abuse and its dangers.

I don't think Lucas Browne was juicing. He doesn't have the look nor the demeanor. Briggs sure does have both, and i think he was a pretty easygoing negro before Vitali scrambled his brain and he started roiding. What's going on with Browne now?

I googled Filipino bodybuilders and yeah they got that bulked up size too, same as my friend, tho he was a powerlifter not a bodybuilder, strength not just show. I feel sad because he called me from the hospital the night before his final fatal heart operation but I wasn't there to take the call. I did speak to him the day before. I asked him if he was afraid. He said, yeah sure i am. Then i got an email from his girlfriend with just his first name on the title. I hate it when i get those.

Ustinov should easily beat the long inactive 44 year old Oquendo.

Browne failed two PED tests, while I feel the first one was sabotage the other should be something like the Briggs failed test. Here's Briggs gloating over the second failed test....

Ps WW you may be right as Briggs seems out right euphoric about failing the PED test....

Doesn't take Las Vegas Doctor Margaret and her drug test kit to figure out that that boy is doing something besides eating health foods and drinking milk!

This pinheaded goofball is all over Youtube and other forms of social media gloating over Big Idiot's failed PED test leading up to the Joshua fight, now Whyte fails one himself. Also Eddie Hearn who cried to the media about lifetime bans for Miller has been silent so far about the failed PED test of one of his meal tickets...

PS, while looking like a weekend warrior at the weigh in for his fight last weekend, Whyte was 259 pounds and had the look of an NFL player rather than a boxer....https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2...yte-cleared-to-fight-amid-failed-test-reports

Brandon Marshall says in 6 months he can beat any of the top 4 of heavyweight division, a guy who is well into his 30's who has never fought at any level before and looks like an underwear model and would be lucky to weigh 200 pounds with hard boxing training. A seasoned club fighter like Joey Dawejko would clean his clock, let alone any of the big 4.....https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl...start-boxing-career/ikx6s7lzy82a1fbfsz5n9luw9
