Everywhere I go whether it be twitter, youtube, boxingforum24, and anywhere besides this forum, black boxers get put on a pedestal. They are all made out to be unbeatable gods as long as they arent journeymen. Anytime a black boxer is undefeated he's supposedly a future HOF'er or a generational talent. It doesn't matter the caliber of opponents he's faced. A prime example of this is Tank Davis who has yet to fight A level opposition (he also ducked Loma) yet wins every hypothetical matchup created by boxing fans. But when a non-black boxer is undefeated, they question the quality of opponents they have faced and in many cases say that they are hypejobs. In many cases, you don't even hear about them. An example is inoue where you hear many boxing fans say that lower weight classes are filled with nobodies. But i assure you if blacks were dominating those lower weight classes, there would be more buzz around it.
Another example of this black privilege is that black boxers are more likely to be excused for a bad performance. If you follow boxing, you will know that both shakur Stevenson (black) and teofimo lopez (latino) had lackluster performances in their most recent fights. However, you will notice that many people are making excuses for shakur saying that he just had an off-night or that he had an injured left hand even though his coach kept telling him to use his left hand if you watched the fight. So clearly it was because he was scared of opening up for a counter. But despite all this, many people say to look past it because it was only one bad performance and doesn't take away from his greatness. On the other hand, many people were saying Teo got exposed and was never that good. They constantly keep bringing up how he's inept at cutting off the ring and fighting on the front foot even though the other guy just kept running like shakur did. So now his past accomplishments don't matter anymore and he's just trash according to the public.
Even when it comes to elite ATG fighters, people always nitpick bad things about non-black fighters such as Pacquiao, loma, canelo, klitchsko, Inoue, etc to make them seem overrated. They bring up their losses or even specific moments in the fight where they didn't look so good. Or they accuse them of steroids like black boxing fans did with Pacquiao. Yet they never do this with black fighters and often talk about how talented and smart they are and how no non-black fighters can beat them. Oftentimes, you will see this come from black boxing fans and especially mayweather fans who are mostly black themselves. While I have nothing against mayweather and think he's a great fighter, his black supremacist fanbase is certainly an annoyance and have ruined boxing spaces online. You are not allowed to make any criticism of great black fighters without eliciting a negative reaction while you can do so for everyone else. You can bring up Pacquiao struggling to beat Marquez or loma having 3 losses but you cant bring up floyd getting rocked by a 40 year old shane mosley or getting dropped by zab judah or having controversial decisions against Maidana and Castillo. If we do bring it up, we get labeled as racist.
All in all, blacks really do seem to get the benefit of the doubt in boxing and quite frankly, this has gotten out of hand. You can partly blame this on arrogant black boxing fans, but you can also blame this on jews and anglo elites who do way more to promote blacks and tell them how ALL blacks are gifted in athletics and fighting while also selling the idea that ALL whites and asians are soft sissies that can't fight or do well in sports. This will naturally put off more non-blacks from entering the sport and do the opposite for the blacks so the whole invincibility aura around black boxers won't go away anytime soon.
