Posted Dec. 19, 2005 -- BET.com users have selected Minister Louis Farrakhan as the 2005 Person of the Year.


"An overwhelming percentage of our users agreed that Minister Farrakhan made the most positive impact on the Black community over the past year and chose him as the person most worthy to receive the honor of BET.com's 2005 Person of the Year," said Retha Hill, BET.com's vice president for Content.


They agreed that hehas done what no other African American leader has: "mobilize hundreds of thousands of Blacks around the issues of atonement and empowerment, and to convince the masses of our people that we must be the primary catalysts and engines for positive change in our communities," she said.Edited by: KJV1

Can you imagine if People magazine had such a vote, and we named David Duke the 2005 Person of the Year? And Duke is not nearly as controversial and racist as Farakkhan.

This is the kind of thing that gives me very little hope that blacks and whites will ever get along.

I was thinking the exact same thing upon reading this post. Funny
how we as whites don't have a WET awards. Some may argue that the
Grammys are ours, however, most of the winners of the last twenty years
have been black. No, in this country there is the NAACP , the
National Negro College Fund, the ACLU (for jews and blacks), etc.
But not one ostensibly " White" organization , that would be
RACIST! My how we have been underminded by the socialist forces
that be. Powers that have made many whites hate themselves and
their own kind, while simultaneously buying into the advancement of
other races that would just as soon have their shrunken heads on
sticks, or used as ingredients for stew.

What do Mugabe and Farrakhan have in common? Both were riding high until they criticized a protected group; gays for Mugabe and Jews for Farrakhan. Until then all anti-white statements and behavior were ignored or downplayed.

Both are worthy of emulation. There will never come a time when whites are afforded the same degree of respect afforded to gay-tolerant and Jew-friendly non-whites. (Unless there is a white-positive media I'm unaware of.) Begging and hoping for mainstream acceptance is a waste.

Imagine a white religion just for whites in the same way the various black Muslim groups (the NOI is just one of four or so) are just for blacks. Or a country ethnically cleansed of non-whites even if it meant starvation for the whites who remained (that wouldn't happen to whites, but there would be hardship along the lines of what the Serbs went through during the Bosnia and Kosovo episodes).

The problem with Farrakhan is blacks do not take his message to heart. They continue to use drugs and alcohol. They don't marry their children's mothers. They continue to lust after white women. They continue to live lives of crime. But maybe, with time, Farrakhan can have more of an impact.

Mugabe is certainly having an impact. Good for him. Whites must be master in a place such as Africa or not be there at all.

The more Racial Demagogues there are the better. We need more Louis Farrakahns and Cruz Bustamontes. Eventually these loud real racists will cause the dam of multiculturalism to break and a tidal wave of Balkanization (and maybe even Ethnic Cleansing) will occur. There may even be a Civil War II as Thomas Chittum predicted. Worse is better for now!

There may be one, but it will never receive the acceptance and respect among whites, let alone the world, that the NOI has among blacks. And thats unfortunate.
