Caleb Plant - world champ
Joe Smith Jr - about to become world champ

And then there's good/decent prospects like Vito Mielnicki, Nikita Ababiy, Tyler Howard, Sonny Conto, Reshat Mati, Joey Spencer, Trey Lippe Morrison, Giovanni Mioletti

And we can also include the white Hispanic american guys .

Jose Ramirez - world champion
Andy Ruiz Jr, Danny Garcia, Ruben Villa, Nico Hernandez, and Ryan Garcia looks 3/4 white also.

Who else is there?

I can't think of any more white American boxers at all. The ones I do see are used to boost a black or Mexican record. Would you have an opinion on what has happened to the white American boxer? I know I grew up in the 50s & 60s but we had boxing clubs all over S.C. N.C had their share too. I just remember in the 60s, 70s,8os, and 90s we had an abundance of white fighters. They were not all champions but were competitive in their matches. Now, a white American fighter is harder to find than a convenience store owned by a white person.
The British with just 1/6 of the population have white boxers all over the country and they compete at a very high level. I am very impressed at the vast improvement of the British boxers of today. I'd like your take on this.

I’ve seen Mioletti live twice at the emerald queen casino in Tacoma, WA. He’s a really good sound boxer, but doesn’t possess a lot of power which could be an issue as he steps up the competition. I could see him challenging for a title at some point though for sure.

I'm British not American so I'm not fully sure but it seems to me that boxing in the USA has become a very Black sport participatin ( best and worse). If you look at most of the worst boxers/journeyman from USA they are all mostly black too... go to the very bottom of the boxrec list and you'll see its vast majority black there too. Usually when you see a US boxing gym, whites are the minority or there's none. When I'm watching the top Ukrainian/Russian/Irish etc amateurs turn pro in the USA almost always the yank journeyman they are facing is black. Even most of the referees are black over there it seems. I've heard that some gyms don't make white boxers feel welcome in them.

Netherless Caleb Plant is world champion and the best yank in his division , Joe Smith Jr is about to become world champion and is the best yank in his division too. There's a couple of top prospects. So it's not too bad/as bad as some people make out.

I've also heard/ read that the most poor whites ( italias, Irish etc)bettered themselves and moved out of the ghetto and don't wanna get punched in the face for a living. Whereas the negros are always stuck there. And MMA seems to be a more popular sport for US combat sport athletes.

Possibly white americans have got softer and lost their mentality of being the toughest and the best. With all the PC ********. And the way ppl in America try to push the false narrative that blacks dominate sports.

The boxing hall of fame and greatest of all times lists is absolutely full of great white american fighters of the past. Far too many to mention like Harry Greb, Willie Pep, Benny Leonard, Rocky Marciano, Billy Conn, Tony Canzoneri, Stanley Ketchel, Jack Dempsey, Jake La Motta, etc, etc. White Americans are probably the most successful group in pro boxing history!

So I don't think it's a talent thing. I think the main reason is because the numbers are low. I would love to see demographics racial statistics of all pro and amateur USA boxers at the moment. That would be very interesting. Because at a guess I would say only about 5-10% would be non hispanic whites!

And obviously it's not a racial thing, to know that you only have to compare how far superior the continent Europe is at boxing compared to Africa! There's little tiny euro nations that are alone better at boxing tham the entire continent of 55 countries of Africa combined!

And yeah Britain has a never ending supply of top white fighters. Almost all of whom come from gyms near rough poor council estates, And the GB squad set up has very good coaches there.
Maybe there needs to be more boxing gyms in poor white areas of USA.

Thanks, Truth for your thoughts and I think you are spot on with your assessments. I think white kids in the U.S. are brainwashed into believing that there are certain things they cannot compete with blacks and boxing is one of those sports. Your estimate of 5-10 % of amateur fighters being white is pretty darn accurate. Parents don't realize how much boxing is a thinking sport as well as a physical one. you can compete for a long time in boxing by knowing what skilled level you are at how much you still enjoy it. Land a good combo or knowing what your opponent is trying to do is as enjoyable as scoring a touchdown, hitting a home run, or scoring the winning basketball. I encourage all parents to let their sons box. It's good cardio and it's good for their self-esteem. Two of my three sons box and loved the times they would win a match and hurt like heck when they lost. My oldest son had asthma and couldn't box.

Good points @The Truth and @booth . There definitely needs to be more gyms in poor White Rural areas and even the Suburbs if you ask me. Plant is from a poor area on the outskirts of Nashville.

MMA does drain away a lot of the Boxing Talent, but I'm telling you. With the way Demographics are shifting, Poor White's will have no choice but to toughen and get more scrappy. Britain and Ireland as mentioned have well established boxing traditions. Here in USA it's usually either a Mexican Gym or a Black one if you want to get serious with it. Maybe in big cities like NYC or CHI they have pockets of Russians/Poles that have their own gyms.

Also glass half full kinda thing. I think the overall number of White American Boxers has increasingly gone up since 80s,90s,2000s, etc! It's a good time to be a White Fight Fan in general and America is still churning out some prospects and Champs!
