<DIV =storyContent>TAMPA, Fla., April 1 (UPI) -- Tampa Bay Storm football player Kenyatta Jones was arrested after allegedly trying to urinate on a dance floor and then shoving a police officer, police said.
Tampa police said the Arena Football League player was told to leave The Blue Martini dance club after he attempted to publicly relieve himself and uniformed police officers tried to escort him from the premises, the Tampa (Fla.) Tribune reported Tuesday.
However, the arrest report said Jones tried to re-enter the club and shoved one of the officers after he attempted to stop the football player by grabbing his arm. A second officer used a Taser on Jones.
Jones, who formerly played for the New England Patriots and Washington Redskins, has been charged with battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest with violence and trespassing. He was released Tuesday morning on $4,500 bail.
