I can't afford it. The games are a ripoff also.

I do have the original Playstation and the PS2, though.

I can't afford either a PS3 or an Xbox 360. I'm 100% a PC Gamer.

Just wondering if any of you guys have heard and played this game?

I 100% agree! Save your money for the ladies!

Things like the PS3 and 360 can waste away one's youth. I have long trashed away my PS2, and only play simple PC games these days.

I have heard Modern Warfare is an incredible game. I have the regular Xbox and play some pc games. I was thinking of getting the 360 version but games are just too expensive. It's not worth it.

I used to hit the arcades as a kid in the early 80s (PacMan, Galaga & Centipede were my favorites back in the day

), but not a gamer...and don't play video games anymore. My kids play the "Leapfrog" educational games & my 2 oldest boys share a "Gameboy". We limit the kid's video game & TV time though.

One of my buddies is a hardcore gamer...plays the Navy Seal game (?) & some other online stuff. He plays a hour+ each night, but he's also single/no kids.

I game when I have a chance, but with kids and a heavy workload, it's only occasional. I have an Xbox 360 (my son does, actually, but I bought it and pay for everything) that I only mess with occasionally. If I game, I still prefer PC gaming, and my rig (that I built) will flat out blow away any PS3 or Xbox 360, so I'll play COD MW2 on it when I get the game for Christmas

My folks didn't allow me to have atari, commodore or any other video games at the house. We didn't have cable TV, a microwave or cordless phone (until I was in HS). My Dad's old-school, John Wayne type & Mom's an old-school evangelical. We didn't get pre-sweetened cereals, soda (at home), no rock music albums/music (grew up on country & souther gospel), etc. I'd "sneak" cable TV, pre-sweetened cereals, etc. at my buddy's house. I didn't play video games too much, but would hit an arcade at the mall, local pizza joint or corner store every once in a while.

I play "electric football" it's a bunch of minature football figurines on vibration sensitive bases that move along a football field surface when it vibrates. If you paint the guys white they play better, and no trash talking.

the Call of Duty series is a landmark in gaming. Not only are the games great, but the WW2 games are historically accurate, and the modern warfare games have very interesting stories...Edited by: jcolec02

This is a MUST SEE for any fan of Westerns, video games, or a combination of the two, simply AMAZING!!!
Great post, jcolec02!

It's a shame it doesn't have a PC platform. I've always wanted to play Western genre games, but there hasn't been a decent one (PC especially) in ages. Not since DUST (1995):

DUST: A Tale of the Wired West (1995)

It's an old-school game, and pretty damn good one!

If a PC platform emerges for this ONE, I'll get it in a heart-beat!

I just replayed "God of War" on my PS2, and I finally figured (why it took me so long, I dunno) out something disturbing.

The voice of Kratos (the main character), a Greek/Spartan warrior who's very muscular, is being done by a negro named Terrence Carson! Oh my! There is no negro character in the original game, which is the only GOW game I have, so I figure this negro voice-over (of main character) was done for PC reasons.

DL, the Zionist PTB controlling "Hollyweird" & the Sheepletainment industry love putting ******** into White roles. There's a good thread on this in the "Media Racism and Stereotyping" Forum...

I miss those old days of playing video games in the arcades. We used to have a cool arcade in my neighborhood. You could play pool practically all day by paying a flat fee. It had Skee ball, lots of good pinball machines, all the good video games, plus trampolines outback in the summer. You could get Soda for a quarter, hotdogs for 50, Milkshakes for 75 and a slice of pizza for a buck. They kept a really strict environment too, no smoking, no PDA's, no excessive swearing etc, so it kept out a lot of the punks who would have been there to make trouble. It was a virtual haven for a kid between the ages of say 10 and 15. The owner was a cool guy who even had TV's set up and would play movies like the Last Starfighter or Goonies, stuff that kids would enjoy.
Once Nintendo and Sega started to become popular it slowly started to go downhill. They began to take out more of the video games and add more pool tables and it started to become a more seedy place, but for about 3 years in my life it was almost like a second home. I have never enjoyed video games so much as did in those days. There is definitely something to be said for those simpler times and games.

I played games for quite a while into young adulthood, before like others have said, it has just become something is too expensive. I just can't justify spending that kind of money for a hobby that feels like it should be more for a younger person with less responsibilities and no family. The last system I purchased was the regular Xbox and when I saw the prices of the Xbox360 and PS3 decided that enough was enough. The only way I would even see myself buying another console in the near future is if it was something that my daughter wanted and I seriously doubt she would be interested in the same kind of games I would be.

There is an arcade not too far from were I live with old school games like Mario Bros, Donkey Kong, Battletoads, Ninja Turtles, Ring King, Castlevania, as well as several pinball machines and they even sell a game system that plays Nintendo and Super Nintendo games on the same system
