Another Reason To Dislike Favre

Brett Favre has come out publicly and condemned the "harsh" punishment Koren Robinson received from the league. Huh? This idiot-who yelled at the only white WR he's ever had- Bill Schroeder-every time he dropped a pass, is outraged that a career troublemaker like Robinson (who has dropped more passes in one game than Schroeder did in his entire career) will actually have to face some minor repercussions for his latest act of uncivil behavior. I've mentioned how I feel about Favre before- imho, he epitomizes the problems white skill position players face in making it in today's NFL. If the biggest white stars treat white players this way, what can you expect from black players? Favre has shown he clearly favors black teammates. Besides his treatment of Schroeder, he never offered a public word of support for his then "best friend" on the Packers, TE Mark Chmura, when he was accused of raping a teenage girl some years ago. He also laid down on the field, in the absolute worst display of "sportsmanship" I've ever seen, so that black DE Michael Strahan could break the single season sack record set by the publicly despised white DE Mark Gastineau. Imho, he should have been banned from the game for that ridiculous, inexcusable act. Instead, he received about as much criticism for it as any black thug does for their many legal transgressions.

I don't care if Favre is white- I will not support an ignorant clown just because of that. I realize he has produced a ton of impressive passing statistics, but he has also thrown more bad interceptions than any alleged great QB in NFL history (outside of the obviously non- great black frauds like Mike/Michael Vick). Favre is bascially a black guy in a white body. His sister was involved, years ago, in a drive-by shooting incident (she was riding in the car of the thug doing the shooting). No female with any class would have been around a situation like that. I know there are many Favre supporters here, but this is the way I feel. Besides, I really get tired of John Madden saying "Brett Favre" a zillion times during every game he announces. Favre is one white guy that black-loving buffoon is absolutely in love with.

I'm sure Brett got this way while playing for Southern Miss, a school that even in the late 80s was overwhelmingly black. USM has always been the blackest of the big 3 in Mississippi until the last 5 years. Now State and Ole Miss have caught up with Southern in playing almost all blacks.

that was a total disgrace. I can't believe they allow that record to stand..

Yeah, he wanted to lay down so that black man could take the record, I don't know how he could do that. What a race traitor.

He makes some good points about Robinson though. As for the Strahan deal that was an awful decision on his part. In the last minutes of a game in hand he calls an audible on third down from a run to a pass, takes the snap runs around for about 10 seconds and then flops on the ground in front of Strahan. But Mark being a man still congratulates Strahan for "breaking" the record. How many black men would do the reverse, zip I'll bet.

The most despicable thing about what Bretty did is to ignore how his linemen felt about it. They had vowed that Strahan would NOT break the record against their quarterback. They had played superbly the entire afternoon; on the play in question Favre deliberately ran the opposite direction from which the play was called, and laid down for the sack.

It has nothing to do with race, idiot. It's about HONOR. Something which you apparently know little about and do not understand. I guess in your opinion it is okay for Favre to WANT to give the black man the record, right? Because of his race? Was Favre's act a noble one? Lying down for a sack so the black man could take the record?

It was wrong of Favre to lie down for the sack PERIOD.

End of story.

I forgot one more absurd, black-like thing Favre did. He refused to mentor Aaron Rodgers, saying it "wasn't his job" to do so. Does that sound like a "brother" thing to do or what? I would guarantee that Favre would never, in a million years, refuse to mentor Vince Young.

RIght on. Glad to see Favre getting some heat here. He's a sure Hall of Famer, no doubt about that and deservedly so, but he has made some astoundingly awful decisions on the field, appaling plays that just killed his team. Worse, he seems not to care! (Which is why announcers crow about him "having so much fun;" bet his teammates aren't having such a great time after his third or fourth int.)

Basically, he's the exception that proves the rule. Yeah, I know the MSM speculates constantly on his retirement, but really, Marino or Young got a ton more (undeserved) heat at the end of their careers than Favre does at the end of his.

(Besides, his connection to the execrable Mike Holmgren is enough reason to dislike him.)
