I realize AVG is a Free Agent and probably won’t be back in Miami. Figured we can just move this thread to wherever he ends up.

Anyways the Blonde Haired LB with his hair flowing out the back of his helmet has carved out a nice career as a pass rushing specialist. Has ideal size at 6’4 245, paired with Clay Matthews esque Athleticism. Yeah I said it!

He’s 28 and has served a lengthy racial apprenticeship, but still has 250 career tackles and 17 sacks. To go along with 4FF and 2INTs. He will be signed for White Mans discount, but I hope he chooses somewhere he can Star. He can be a double digit sack guy as a full time starter.

Not bad for an under recruited Iowa kid. That spent time at South Dakota, Iowa Western Community College, and finally starting at Wisconsin for 2 seasons! 5th round pick. Quite the path, but quite common for our guys.

Hoping he ends up in Philadelphia. He's had his best seasons under new DC Vic Fangio, and Fangio supposedly convinced him to re-sign in Miami last year. He's a fantastic, athletic, versatile player who would look good on most teams.

Good to see him end up with a white friendly team in the Vikings. Dolphin's black GM Chris Grier needs to be fired post haste.

Vikings signing both Van Ginkle and Blake Cashman is great!

Imagine if they draft Shipley now.

On the flip side, they release Dean Lowry.

Here's a good article on Van Ginkel. I like the top ten edge rushers by pressure rate chart. Half of them are overachievers at a position that is overwhelmingly black. Hmm, just another coincidence. Van Ginkel received no offers coming out of high school, there's that pattern again that no one in the corporate sports media wants to mention or discuss.

Thanks for sharing! How many times have we seen this song and dance?! Too many to count. Hoping for a monster 24 season for him.

Despite his great productivity the Dolphins never played Van Ginkel full-time except when starters were injured. And this year the Vikings drafted an edge rusher in the first round so naturally everyone (the DWF hive mind) assumes Dallas Turner will start immediately, pushing Van Ginkel to his traditional back-up role, and that of course could happen given this is the Caste NFL. But Minnesota gave Van Ginkel a nice contract even though he's still underpaid relative to his peers (2 years $20 million, $10 million guaranteed), so look for Van Ginkel to start and have his best season yet.
