Jimmy Chitwood
Hall of Famer
look closely.
Andrew Ratica had one of the top overal Sparq ratings in the USA in the summer of 2014. he was a rising junior at the time, and only 16 years of age. his time in the 40 yard dash of 4.48 seconds was tied for the #23 overall time nationwide.
measuring in at exactly 6-feet tall (or 5-foot 12-inches according to the geniuses at the combine) and weighing 200 pounds, Ratica has ideal size for a defensive back. his 37.5-inch vertical was in the 99th percentile nationwide.
additionally, when you combine his size/speed ratio with the fact that he finished his high school career as a back-to-back Florida State Champion weightlifter in the 199-pound weight class (as a senior he had a 415-pound bench press and 305-pound clean and jerk!!!), you are presented with the all around physical specimen that big-time football coaches allegedly covet.

when watching his on-track performance, you see the raw power and explosiveness he has which equates into impressive speed despite his horrible technique.
on the football field, he is a physical force, literally crushing ball carriers. you can see some highlights here: http://www.hudl.com/athlete/1692164/highlights/80852383/v2
can you guess where this physically-imposing, fleet-footed powerhouse athlete ended up?
if you know what he looks like, it might help (especially if you understand the Caste System) ...
if you guessed that he didn't receive a single scholarship offer to play football ANYWHERE, then you'd be correct. to the best of my knowledge, he is going to be a regular student at the University of North Florida.
you really can't make this stuff up.
