This kid has made the transition from Safety to CB, and will start for the Commodores this fall. He was a starting safety last year and will be a Senior this year. Hopefully, he will become a real impact player at this position. Andrew will be possibly the only white starting CB in the SEC in 2005. He, TE Dustin Dunning, and Jay Cutler are the only real bright spots on an increasingly black Vanderbilt squad.

Cool maybe he can step in a replce Dustin Fox as a great CB and get some post season honors. But the NFL will screw him over just like Fox unless he has Matt Jones's speed which is just about impossible no matter who you are.

All I know is that he's the only one in the SEC this year.

according to Vandy's website, Pace has looked very comfortable switching from safety, where he was the starter for the past two seasons, to corner. the Commodoers do a poor job of updating their football team's website or giving much information on the players, but the article indicated that the coaching staff has been very pleased with his perfomance so far.

i plan on watching him in person when Vandy travels to Arkansas to play the Hogs for the Razorbacks' second game of the season, so i'll post more info on him then.

We'll be looking forward to that info, Jimmy. We all wish him an outstanding year.
