Ana Ivanovic Retires

Due to a series of injuries, Ana Ivanovic is retiring at 29. She won 15 tour titles, including the French Open in 2008. I always considered her right up there with Maria Sharapova among tennis beauties, but below Anna Kournikova.

Yep Ana is one of the beauties. I know she had injury issues but she also recently married so I'm thinking a bun in the oven any day now is a real possibility. Another cutie Maria Kirilenko retired last year due to injuries but she too got married (in Russia) and I believe is expecting a child. One of the little secrets the media doesn't tell us, and I have seen this at tennis tournaments I have attended, is that far too many female tennis players are not entirely dedicated to tennis They are focused on MEN and settling down with their mate. A lot of them spend an awful lot of time flirting with either other male tennis players or other tall what they consider handsome dudes. No wonder the William sisters are still winning . Too many of these girls have "other" things on their mind besides tennis. Two of the Williams sisters biggest thorns were Justine Henin and Kim Clijsters and it is no coincidence that Serena and her sister ( albeit to a much lesser extent) found a "second wind" after those two stars prematurely quit tennis to pursue family life. Why don't the William sisters go away and have babies too although my guess is Serena's reign is coming to an end soon anyway Thank God. And Venus has little chance of capturing another major. To me the prettiest player out there is Maria Sharapova and she should be returning in the spring after what I thought was a bogus suspension. I said this in an earlier post. If the NFL or NBA had as strict drug policies as tennis my guess is around twenty five per cent of the players in those leagues would be suspended. So you have gorgeous Maria labeled a PED monster while the countless black pro NFL and NBA players are ingesting this stuff like candy without any consequences.

Just want to add breaking news not that anyone should give a rat's ass but while the subject was just being discussed it is worth a blurb. Serena Williams just got engaged. This should hasten her decline even faster.

Good point. A lot of the female tennis players just don't seem very dedicated, as is obvious from their fitness levels or lack thereof and their lack of consistency, and that's undoubtedly a big part of the reason why for many. It must infuriate the gender-blending feminists. Don't know if White American female tennis players are the same way because there aren't any good ones anymore, they're all blacks and mulattos now.
