PIerce like Watson on the Chiefs just doesn't get thrown the ball enough. He runs wind sprints like football dad says about Watson and
he could jump up and down and do cartwheels but is mostly ignorred. It's not that he doesn't get open. It's his lack of opportunities. He
needs to get in Minshews ears and mind. I've brought this up in the past. Julian Edelman talks about how he and Brady became very close
friends and only then did he really start to shine on game days. It's all about chemistry just like in a relationship with a woman.

The Colts' QB is the first round pick Richardson, who can't stay healthy. It has nothing to do at this point with Minshew. Let's see what happens tomorrow.

Unfortunately it didn't work out that way. Minshew rarely looked downfield to Pierce, apparently because he didn't want to throw deep or was ordered to be mostly the fabled "game manager." Not saying Pierce is great at getting open, but he was open enough not to have eight games last season with a single reception or no receptions at all.

Now Pierce has to rely on Richardson and his "cannon arm" if he is to have a role on Indy this season as the Colts drafted Adonai Mitchell in the second round, the same round they drafted Pierce in. In typical DWF/corporate media/hive mind fashion, Pierce has been all but written off while the same forces assume Mitchell will be great and will immediately replace Pierce.

Looking at Mitchell's stats in three seasons at Georgia and Texas, he accumulated a total of less than 1,300 receiving yards. But that athleticism! That upside!

In addition to his speed, Pierce is an excellent blocker, no surprise there as White receivers usually have to be able to block like tight ends to play in the NFL. Somehow I doubt Mitchell is a great blocker.

This is Pierce's third season, one where many wide receivers take a big step forward. But none is expected in Pierce's case. If the Colts push him to the background in '24, the logical conclusion is that any chance of him starting in the NFL no matter the team is pretty much gone.

This little squib is typical of the hive mind view of Pierce. I've yet to read anything positive about him since the drafting of the "great" Adonai Mitchell:

Pierce might see limited usage as the 4th-ranked WR on the Colts. As the consensus #95 WR, he won't be worth owning in most fantasy leagues. Pierce is projected for 319 yards and 1.9 TDs on 19.9 receptions, which is 8.8% of the workload for Colts WRs. The Colts have the 15th-best wide receiver schedule.

Pierce caste aside for an upsider. Shocker. I remember you calling out the Mitchell draft pick as beginning of the end for Pierce.. Figures.

Alec Pierce has already been written off by the vast majority of the hive mind media but that doesn't make it reality. Pierce is a great blocker in addition to his size and speed, and was used most of last season as a decoy. I see the battle between Pierce and the rookie Mitchell (like Pierce a second rounder but somehow with much more mouth-watering upside) to be the second starting outside receiver on Indy as one of the most important ones to watch this season.

Analysis: Pierce missed the final day of mandatory minicamp last month, but it was termed precautionary at the time. The third-year wideout is back on the field and was working with the first-team offense alongside Michael Pittman and Josh Downs, notably ahead of rookie Adonai Mitchell. Pierce is taller, heavier, has a faster 40, longer arms, faster 10 yd split, faster 20 yd split, and a higher vertical jump. Only thing Mitchell did better in was the broad jump. Why does this team, when they could use so many other picks at other positions, basically choose a lesser of what they already have? Might as well line up who you pick according to answers from the Magic 8 Ball. These people are paid for these choices. Like choosing Rondale Moore when you have an all around better white athlete on your team already.

Hoping at very least Pierce ends up as Kevin Walter+. Higher ceiling with his superior athleticism. Walter stuck around because he was a good blocker, Jordy and Riley Cooper were too. Bigger WRs.

After almost unanimously being written off as inevitably being easily replaced by the second round rookie Mitchell, the narrative is now shifting, with Alec Pierce being regarded as even or a bit ahead of the upsider. Of course following these things is like following the presidential horse race with its daily swings and shifts in "momentum," in order to keep the masses enthralled. But it does appear Pierce is moving ahead at the present time as the media narrative has changed noticeably of late. And given his all-around game, here's hoping it continues and that Richardson and his "rocket arm" don't ignore him once the regular season begins.

The Chargers would be a great landing spot for Pierce if he's traded; the Ravens not so much. After the Colts drafted what's in effect Pierce's black clone in the second round this year in Mitchell (who somehow has much more "upside") it was obvious that Alec's unlikely to ever thrive in Indy, even with Richardson and his supposed cannon arm.

McConkey and Pierce on the same team would be cool, esp. with Justin Herbert at QB.

For what it's worth, all the training camp reports on Pierce have been positive, hopefully he holds off Mitchell and keeps his starting job, or is traded to a team like the Chargers or 49ers (if they trade Aiyuk):

Pierce caught two passes for 31 yards to cap an impressive preseason, and not just for the explosive, flashy plays he made at times in practice. The third-year wide receiver started camp strong and never faded, which was not a coincidence for a player whose goal was to be consistent in the lead-up to the 2024 regular season.

"I think I've had a good training camp," Pierce said. "I've tried to be working on my consistency, basically to kind of bring up the level of the bad days — like never truly have a day where it was like, 'ah, he wasn't great today.'

"I know my type of game, I know I'm going to have good days where I make big plays but other days might not make the big play, but trying to bring that up and not have a, 'oh, I had a good day today,' and then kind of lose a little focus. I was trying to always be consistent, wipe the last day from my memory and attack each day like a new day."

Early in camp, Pierce said he had a few good days before going into a practice feeling like he was a little banged up. But instead of downshifting and looking forward to the next day's off day, he kept his focus on the present and making the most of every opportunity he had.

That consistency then showed in Pierce making plays on more than deep shots and 50/50 jump balls throughout camp. On Thursday, he created separation with a fluid cut over the middle to generate a 19-yard reception on Colts' first offensive play; later, he quickly turned for the ball when Richardson replaced a blitz and flipped a short pass into a 13-yard gain on third-and-10.

Again, it doesn’t matter if the white player is better. He will ride the pine.

Only when a white player is in the best-at-his-position category will he be starting.

Inferior blacks always have the upper hand by their Jew owners. Need to make sure the white men in the States know their place. Can’t have them getting the notion they actually are superior.
