Al Haymon's Premier Boxing Champions on NBC

Boxing is returning to primetime tomorrow night March 7. There are no white boxers on the card that I know of. It's going to be Broner vs Molina and Thurman vs Guerrero. Although it is good to see boxing back on mainstream TV, it is unlikely Al Haymon will feature any white fighters (if he even has any signed!).

Maybe NBC and the PTB think that because Vitali has retired and Vlad is getting along in years (though still by far the best heavyweight in the world) that it is safe to bring boxing out of the shadows in America again. They sure have been trying for the last 10+ years to ignore the brothers. They act like the two men who are arguably the greatest heavyweight champions in history, and possibly the two greatest refutations of the lie of black athletic supremacy, never existed. If the Klitschko brothers were black and had the same resumes they have, they would have been on the cover of Sports Illustrated 30+ times by now, just like Muhammad Ali. In fact they would rival the Cult Marxist hero Ali as the greatest sports figure of all time. As far as I know they have never been on the cover of SI. That fact right there shows the Caste System in full effect.

Completely agree.

When Haymon had all his fighters at HBO he got his Cris Arreola fights with Vitali and Adamek, both who bashed Arreola up. Shortly after, HBO announced that they were "Out of the Heavyweight business." Haymon couldn't beat the European fighters, so they decided they just wouldn't show them on HBO anymore.

I think Haymon is bad news for boxing and this NBC series will just be a showcase for his fighters.

Me three! I couldn't agree more. I'm even more suspicious, wondering if the media powers that be know something is up, or have ... "something" in the wings that will (be an attempt to) make boxing at the top levels a lot darker than it's been in years. They're pushing hispanic as well as black fighters, they have to cater the to population they hope to use to replace white America. Whatever the real story is, there's no doubt that tonight's broadcast is another attempt at social conditioning by the Usual Suspects, never mind a fishing expedition to see how things will play in Peoria (and elsewhere).

I'm watching a stream of the broadcast while doing some work, just out of curiosity. Everything else aside the black ref seems to kissing Broner's black ass through the first three rounds of the Broner - Molina match. Things never change.

Broner unfortunately won as expected. The Mexican he was fighting was a moving heavy bag throughout the fight and was slow as molasses.

That was a mismatch, Molina is a shopworn journeyman.

Thurman-Guerrero is a good fight though.

The matches seem to have been set up as a showcase for the the afroletes. Which is par for the course for the MSM. You would think that the White wave that hit boxing never occurred if you only paid attention to the MSM.
Jack you are correct. Next card will again feature two favored affeletic boxers. One of them being exposed and hammered into submission Berto. The other, Porter who was last exposed as a crude slugger by a Black English chap over the summer. But I have to give credit to Haymon, he is one of the top 5 most powerful men in boxing. He controls large swaths of it. Now he has a prime time network gig. I suspect it will be a success. NBC will only gladly support it. I hope the Hispanic / White opponents funneled in as sacrificial lambs will pull some upsets.

Harmon's gig is going according to plan. His negro fighters are winning (all won tonight). Not a surprise. This PBC is a show case for negro fighters first and foremost. Likely I have tomorrow to look forward to with Kovalev wrecking havoc.

The Lopez v Berto was good. Joselito was winning the fight. He got knocked down twice in the 6th, the ref pre maturely stopped the fight. Saving Berto another beat down. Oh well. I can tell the fighters in this series are laying it all on the line.

Yep the formula is for a star on the comeback trail to beat up on action fighter without defense. Hopefully for Haymon his star looks good and a big fight can be lined up on HBO/Showtime or NBC if the money is good enough to stage the fight. The three pseudo Whites(Mexican-Americans) were perfect opponents in that regard(really only Guerrero had any chance of winning).

Ps what was Cris Arreola doing in the semi final. While his fight was a tv friendly fight. His atrocious shape made him look an ethnic Fred Flintstone and gave his limited opponent a chance to win that fight.

WIS you are correct. I will always wonder why Arreloa never hired a strength and conditioning coach after his loss to Vitali. He had talent and heart, but could never bring it to the next level. I guess gorging yourself on burritos and carnitas is better than being an elite fighter. What a shame.
