Davis grew up rooting for Red Blaik's Army football team. In the 1940's, the annual Army-Notre Dame game played in New York City was like the Super Bowl. New York's Irish and Italian Catholics rooted for Notre Dame. New York's Jewish population cheered for Army. I read this in a book on the 1951 Army cribbing scandal. In one of his books, Howard Cosell devoted an entire worshipful chapter to Blaik. Al Davis modeled the Raider uniform on Army's when he became Raider coach in 1963.

Brown should say that Al Davis hates Notre Dame from his childhood days of rooting for Army. It would be more logical than claiming Davis hates black athletes.

ONLY black athletes from Notre Dame, is that a new form of racism? Does Tim Brown realize how stupid he sounds? haha ridiculous.

We better call the ACLU and put this new minority group on the list.

I want to make sure whenever people are asked for their race that the list should include "Black Athlete from Notre Dame" but it should also include "White Athlete from Notre Dame".

Then we should do a study to see if this new group of minorities are being discriminated against..
