I cannot find this guy looking up the search engine but a wr for the Dolphins really made an impression me in their last preseason game. Cruz went undrafted out of Brown where he was mostly a corner. The kid got signed in 2014 by the Bears but I believe he was cut. Not only did he look fast and fluid he played on the slot and the outside and looked very Marc Marianiesque returning kickoffs. If he he was mentioned here I can't find him. He was playing as early as the 2nd quarter. Also Miami's Griff Whalen is currently listed as their third wr. The Dolphins will cut Hartline 3 years ago but keep a journeyman like Whalen though I have high hopes for Cruz to not only make the team but get some playing time especialy since he looks like their first choice for kick returns.

It seems like his best bet to make the team would be as a returner.

Heard his name called a few times. Jakeem Grant will probably be the return guy since he was a mid-round draft pick, but I hope Cruz somehow sticks around. I'm also hoping Gase is more fair to white players than Philbin was.

Turns out the Philbin caste stink did not leave the team as Gase decided to cut AJ.

I figured Cruz did not have much of a chance with that undersized midget return man they drafted this year. Perhaps he will become another welker.

Jakeem Grant and his affletic 5'5 150 pound frame obviously has more upside.. Best of luck to Cruz, it ain't easy being a white player In football, especially skill position guys..
