A new documentary came out a couple of days ago de-bunking the "pre-tribulation" rapture. (The pre-trib rapture is a dispensationlist theory promoted by John Hagee and most churches today, that incorrectly identifies "jews' as Gods elect. It was produced by Paul Wittenberger, the same guy that made "What in the world are they Spraying". (a documentary on chemtrails).

Good post BearClaw. Most of my fellow Baptists adhere to the pre-trib rapture theology. I'm still studying on it, so I can't say (with authority) that pre isn't legit. However, I lean heavily towards post trib. BTW, Pastor Steven Anderson is one of my favorite (current) IFB preachers. There's a few items I don't agree with him on, but I really appreciate (& enjoy) his hardnose Bible preachin'....we need alot more of it! ;)

I'm glad that documentary came out and I look forward to seeing it. I've been posting about this important issue for quite some time. The less than 200 year old teaching called the pre-trib rapture is appealing to modern day Christians on a number of levels, but from my own Bible study I now believe that it is wrong.
