A Whiter Shade of Winner
A review of the NFL post-season so far shows that there are certain formulas for success in the modern NFL. What are they?
1) You win with a smart, accurate, strong armed QB of the Caucasian persuasion. Tom Brady, Brett Favre, Phillip Rivers, and anyone named Manning. Heck even Billy Volek, who was fantastic as a back-up for the Titans before he was fantastic as a back-up for the Chargers, played and played well. Unfortunately the Titans went "the other way" in choosing a QB and it got them the same thing that the Eagles, Vikings, Redskins and Jaguars got -- early vacations.
2) White offensive linemen. Eighteen of the twenty offensive linemen in the conference championship games will be white That's 90% in a league where 80% of the starters are black!! Surprise! We knew it was true: white linemen are the best. Recently the NFL has fallen in love with grossly overweight, sumo-sized black offensive lineman, because (and don't laugh) they wanted to get "more athletic" linemen. Message to NFL GM's, instead of non-athletic "athletic" lineman, go for the smart ones who really are athletic instead.
3) Throw the ball to the white guy! Even if you only have one, and that's more than most NFL teams do, it pays to throw to a white receiver. Why? They catch the football. And they're fast. Dallas Clark and Anthony Gonzales led the Colts in receiving against the Chargers; and Wes Welker had the most receptions for the Patriots against the Jaguars -- and this year led the league in "yards after catch" -- wow, those slow, "tight-hipped" white guys sure get a lot of mileage out of their "non-stop motors" and "deceptive speed"! Jason Witten led the Cowboys in receiving, becoming the first white tight end since Mark Bavaro in 1986 to surpass 1,000 receiving yards while racking up the third highest number of catches ever for a TE. Even Matt Jones was occasionally hauled out of mothballs by the otherwise coal black Jaguars to make some big catches and was third on Jacksonville in yards in very much part-time duty.
Since the NFL is the ultimate copycat league you would expect the other teams to follow suit and build their teams along the lines of these four winning clubs, all of whom start well above the league average number of white players. Don't bet on it. Racial ignorance is rampant in football and if you live in a city with a losing club chances they are waiting to draft or sign an "athletic" QB, an "athletic" offensive lineman, and an "athlete" at receiver. (Hint: "athlete" is NFL code for "black" but don't say it out loud because racial stereotyping is BAD! [NOTE: applies only to people with white skin].
What teams should be doing is scouring the rosters of the small college programs, the Mountain West teams, the MAC conference, the service academies, the occasional SEC, PAC-10, or BIG 10 "fluke" (fluke = white player that defies ingrained prejudice against his athletic ability to get and keep a starting position at a major Div. I school).
The NFL conference championship games will feature the following teams. All of them are dominated by almost completely white offensive lines and are led by white quarterbacks. While not very white at the other postions they are positively "Swedish" in comparison to the rest of the "Nigerian" NFL.
NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS
Caste Football graded out the Patriots to a "C" this year in a league where most teams get "Fs" and "D-minuses". Bill Belichick has always been somewhat "white friendly" and this year he has almost been "white fantastic." It helps to have one of the best QB's ever to play the game, who is also having one of the greatest seasons ever, but it also takes a coach to build an offensive line that not only protects the passer but opens holes for whatever runner is put back there. Nick Kaczur starts at RT, Stephen Neal at RG, Dan Koppen at C, Logan Mankins at LG, and Matt Light at LT. And, in a tantalizing indication that the Caste System media and drunk white fans may actually be starting to recognize the obvious, several of the Patriots' o-linemen have been selected to various all-star teams instead of the time-honored tradition of mindlessly picking the same old over-rated and washed-up blacks year after year.
New England traded for Wes Welker this year, perhaps after watching Reche Caldwell drop two unguarded passes that were right in his hands in last year's AFC title game. Maybe it occurred to them to get somebody who could catch. And did Welker fit the bill! He had a Pro Bowl type season (if he would've been black) and racked up over 1,100 yards in receiving while tying for the league lead in receptions. This, following the "out of nowhere" performance last season of another "overachiever," Mike Furrey, who tied for second in the NFL in catches in 2006. For his efforts, Furrey promptly found himself demoted to fourth receiver on the Lions in 2007.
On defense the Patriots utilize another long forgotten successful formula: the white linebacker, with Teddy Bruschi and Mike Vrabel. White linebackers are distinct from black linebackers in that they actually know how to tackle. Their strength may not be running in a straight line for 40 yards without pads, and hence the NFL has not had much use for them because apparently running in a straight line very fast for 40 yards without pads is what wins games in the NFL. (Huh?)
The Patriots even have a couple of white running backs that get a carry every full moon or so. Heath Evans, who should be lugging the rock every game, is a "fullback" in the same way Jim Brown and Jim Taylor were "fullbacks." Kyle Eckel, a star runner for the Naval Academy, should also have been given a Napoleon McCallum type of shot at playing in the NFL, but Eckel's ancestors did not spend enough time in the sun near the equator so. . .
Even back-up tight end Kevin Brady has gotten into the action, Marsha, Marsha, Marsha, the Brady to Brady connection should hook up a few more times this season.
And, oh yes, the very white (by today's NFL standards) New England Patriots have so far put together the best season in NFL history, tying the extremely white (even by the standards of the early '70s) 1972 Miami Dolphins.
SAN DIEGO CHARGERS
To get to the Super Bowl the Patriots will have to get by the Chargers. The Chargers managed to beat the defending Super Bowl champion Indianapolis Colts without their star running back and without their star QB for much of the game. Apparently as long as no offensive linemen get hurt they should be all right. The Chargers start four white offensive linemen, Jeromey Clary at RT, Mike Goff at RG, Nick Hardwick at C, and Kris Dielman at LG.
QB Phillip Rivers was considered a major bust at first because he didn't develop into a superstar in the three game time allotment granted to young white QBs (young black QB's receive 5 or more years -- some sort of affirmative action program, or perhaps it's a new NFL rule -- the "Looney" rule).Rivers has since developed into one of the best young QBs not named Brady or Manning.
On defense the Chargers even have more than one white starter, which is an egregious offense against unofficial NFL policy. Igor Olshansky, born in Ukraine, is a stalwart on the defensive line along with Luis Castillo. Inside linebacker Matt Wilhelm is another OSU LB product in the pros, though he had to wait five seasons before getting an opportunity to start. San Diego traded UP to draft a white defensive back, Eric Weddle. When you consider the few white defensive backs that are drafted by the NFL, the Chargers probably could have offered the other teams a case of beer not to pick him. Weddle has been all over the field and has very good speed and athleticism for a guy without any speed or athleticism.
GREEN BAY PACKERS
Green Bay is a classic "caste" system team, white QB, all white o-line, RT Mark Tauscher, RG Jason Spitz, C Scott Wells, LG Darryn Colledge, and LT Chad Clifton, plus a couple of stellar white defensive players and black as the ace of spades everywhere else. But despite the rigorous segregation by position, the Packers have more white starting players than any team in the NFL.
If a white guy in a Green Bay jersey starts running with the ball or attempts to catch it security ought to be called because it won't be anyone on the roster. The team's two white fullbacks, who often line up together in the backfield? The moon will turn to cheese before one of them actually gets a carry.
Still it's good to see Brett Favre playing well. I wonder if the reporters that were insisting four years ago he was washed up and should retire are still asking him about that? Maybe they should go bother Steve McNair instead.
Aaron Kampman has become one of the best defensive linemen in the game and a big reason for the Packers return to prominence. A. J. Hawk, the Butkus winner out of OSU, has turned out to be the beast everyone knew he was going to be and anchors the Pack defense along with another white LB of note, Brady Poppinga. The Packers start 10 white players which is as good as it gets in this prolonged and seemingly permanent dark era of professional football.
NEW YORK GIANTS
Another conference championship finds a Manning under center. This time it's little bro Eli who has a chance to eclipse his big brother by quarterbacking the Giants to the Super Bowl. Manning has taken more heat then Pac Man Jones at a stripper convention even though the Giants have made it to the playoffs three consecutive seasons.
That "winning" thing is usually enough to give the QB a pass but that seems to only apply to those fellas with the excess melanin. Vince Young: plays like a bum, team wins, fans and media love him. However a guy like Rex Grossman: plays hot and cold, team goes to the Super Bowl, media and fans hate him. If things go according to that plan Eli could take the Giants to the Super Bowl and by next fall could be on the bench. Maybe the Chargers will try to bring back the immortal Cleo Lemon and bench Rivers as well.
The Giants are very similar to the Packers, they have a nearly all white o-line in RG Chris Snee, C Shaun O'Hara, LG Rich Seubert, and LT David Diehl, a white QB and not much else. Unfortunately a broken leg ended the possibility of TE Jeremy Shockey blasting through an all-black defense for one of his bruising runs.
The NFL championship won't feature what the NCAA championship did last week, a white running back -- call the Thought Police on LSU for starting Jacob Hester -- but for those out there watching carefully the tide has begun to turn and success this year in the NFL means playing as many white players as you can. Whites are grossly discriminated against when it comes to college recruiting and opportunities in the NFL, but when given a chance, time and time again they shine, as athletes but far more importantly as consistent, productive players.
Last year the big story was "race," the race of the two head coaches in the Super Bowl. This year it's the same only now the race issue is on the field and the message is clear: the whiter the team, the better. Hey, what's the spread on the media honestly talking about it?
