Well,this feels strange.I never imagined that I'd ever post in the NBA section,let alone make a thead(though I wonder if this should belong in the Draft/Free Agency thread).
I came across this article on another site and it hasn't been posted here yet,so why not?

Sim Bhullar became the first player of Indian descent to sign a contract with an NBA team Friday, inking a deal to join the Sacramento Kings in training camp. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.


“I’ve long believed that India is the next great frontier for the NBA, and adding a talented player like Sim only underscores the exponential growth basketball has experienced in that nation,” said Kings owner Vivek Ranadive, the league’s first Indian-born majority owner(Yes,nothing to do with Tribalism and Marketing:icon_rolleyes.


“While Sim is the first player of Indian descent to sign with an NBA franchise, he represents one of many that will emerge from that region as the game continues to garner more attention and generate ever-increasing passion among a new generation of Indian fans(glad that's clear now....anyway,is NBA popular in Asia in general or India in particular?I know for sure that they quite love Soccer).”


The 7-foot-5, 360-pound Bhullar was born in Toronto and played two seasons for New Mexico State, where he averaged 10.2 points, 7.2 rebounds and 2.9 blocks. He twice earned Western Athletic Conference tournament MVP honors and led the Aggies to back-to-back NCAA tournaments.

Undrafted this spring, Bhullar was part of the Kings team that won the NBA’s summer league tournament in Las Vegas last month. He will compete for a spot in training camp behind center DeMarcus Cousins and could be a candidate to join the franchise’s NBA Development League affiliate in Reno, Nevada, where he could have more time to develop his skills.(Are the above credentials really good,gentlemen?)

Much as I'd love to,I can't pick holes in the headline,7-foot-5 is indeed a behemoth,even by the NBA's standards.

So,apart from the jews and blacks,now whites must face the ignominy of other Untermensch owning NBA teams?But then again,jews,I'm pretty sure own everything related to N-B-A in the first place,leaving my last point a little invalid.But nevertheless....this story of (Indian owned) teams buying Indian player to tap into the "huge" Indian market reeks of jews telling MLS clubs to target their product towards Latinos who would come in droves to see their beloved brown brethren in action.The brown fans never came,the teams got blacker(worse),sporting standards fell big time,revenues were insufficient and the jews disappeared after raking in the shekels,much like they leave a whore after pissing on her face.
Just another typical jew story.

I remember watching him play, he has a limited gas tank and he doesn't have the right build to make it in the NBA. They could use him sparingly, but he won't be able to keep up with the speed of the game.

Much as I'd love to,I can't pick holes in the headline,7-foot-5 is indeed a behemoth,even by the NBA's standards.

He is a freak show who will be lucky to get more than a 10 day contract. While he is quite strong he moves literally like an iceberg. He needs to hire a strength and conditioning coach and drop 50 pounds of fat. He puts thunder in the term thunder thighs.

Ps I have seen scouts compare him to Mark Eaton. He is really a poor mans version of the old and shot Eaton. The prime Eaton was quite mobile for a huge man and much slimmer than this Jaws double.

Anyways jokes aside,I really can't imagine this Indian having an ounce of agility.And like you said,I bet he can't sprint,not for long atleast.Regarding his tank,I'm sure it burns something like a gallon a minute.And it'd be fun to watch him turning with the ball,trying to set up a counter(if these things happen in the sport in the first place).

The usual Negro-friendly British press (Daily Mail) was full of praise for "the strongest football player in the world" - Adebayo Akinfenwa and and came up with a laudatory article on him. Adebayo is playing for the third division side Wimbledon and has supposedly impressed Mourinho during a recent friendly between Wimbledon and Chelsea. I know that English teams like "physical players", but this time they may have gone a bit overboard... NFL material?

Hmmm, "The Glacier" just wouldn't be appropriate. Why? Well, firstly, the average glacier is far speedier (not to mention cleaner...) than virtually every Indian "athlete". It seems like the rainbow loving media have moved on from the Chinese toys and it's on to ethnic first from Indians. The Mavericks just drafted an Indian in the second round. Unlike the James Bond henchman from last season he is reasonably fit and mobile but his skills are raw and crude.
