The Astros will have $60 million in salary tied up next year just in Bagwell, Berkman, Oswalt and Petitte, plus Clemens is scheduled to make $18 mil if he comes back again, which of course we all hope he will. They have talented young players like Ensberg who will be in line for big salary hikes. We have to hope they find a way to keep all their stars together in '06, including Biggio, who has almost 2,800 career hits.
