Since 2008, the Huskies have started 6, 6, 8, 8, 7, 8, 7, 8, 8, 8, 6, 6, 5, 6, 5, 8 and 7 white athletes. The Huskies start 4 in 2025.
Former Toledo head coach replaced Jim More and brought many of his black players with him to UCONN. Disappointing for sure. UCONN is another one of those schools that could tap into the Northeast for recruiting but prefers not too.
QB Jake Merklinger escaped the tub of lard's Tennessee program but injured his hand. Maybe he will get some starts as UCONN begins to lose games.
Offense
RT Christian Richter (European)
WR Ryder Treadway
Defense
DT Andrew Laurich
MLB Luke Murphy
Backups of note: RG Joe McGann, TE Matt Ragan, OL Hannes Hammer (European), WR Cameron Abshire (low on depth chart)
