2026 Track Results

On July 4th, Lachlan Kennedy will be taking on a world class field in the 100 at the Prefontaine Classic. That's a fast track up there in Eugene Oregon and I'm hoping for some major 4th of July fireworks out of him.

For the first time ever the Prefontaine Classic will be a 2 day Meet on July 3rd and on July 4th. This is exciting as it won't be so rushed
and hopefully they can invite more elite athletes. My hope is to see both Lachlan Kennedy and Sam Blaskoski in the 100 meters. Even
if it's with heats to make the finals. That would be more exciting. Can you imagine both of them in a 100 meters final in Oregon against
the best sprinters in the world? Like you said we all hope for some serious fireworks on the track!

I'll be waking up to see the results on Sunday and Monday mornings. That is how it is living 1/2 way around the globe - but it can bring delightful surprises to wake up to

Sam is on the list for the 200 meters at the Prefontaine. We will get to see both Sam and Lachlan at this meet.

Femke Bol runs 1:55.60 PB and finishes second in Paris Diamond League. She is going to own this race very soon....
she had McLaughlan to incentivize her for 400H . Now she'll have Werro to do likewise in the 800m. Fortunate lady as well as fantastic talent.
Cam Myers 3.28.00 - just outside world all time top 10 - at 20 years old

I hate to say it but I think Keely is in trouble with these two, Bol & Werro. Her best is mid 1.44's, Werro is quite a bit quicker than that and Bol will likely go alot faster(quite likely low 1.52's)by seasons end or mid next year. Keely will have to hit low 1.53's just to compete with these two.

she will have to chase these two to better performances. She's had a good run till now

It's kind of odd that Henrik Larsson of Sweden hasn't raced indoors or outdoors in 2026. He is in his prime years and I was wondering
what was going on? From his instagram he hasn't announced any retirement plans from Athletics. It does appear that he is either engaged
or married now so I'm happy for him. Hope that have a beautiful famiy. My guess is he took a year off sprinting and he will return next
season but we shall see.

Our old friend Emile Erasmus ran 10.00 (2.9) last night in France to beat young Ferreira by thousandths of a second

Emile's 34 and now running as well as 8 years ago when he did his PB 10.01
