2026 Track Results

I would rate Blaskowski's result today as very good.
He was up against top level competition, and finished 4th. Finishing behind Olympic and World Championship medalists like Bednarek and Christian Coleman is nothing to be ashamed of.
Plus he beat Letsile Tebogo, who is the Olympic 200m Champion.

So not a bad showing at all. He proved that he belongs at this top level of competition and that his recent 9.89 time was no fluke.
Well done Sam.
Agreed. He backed it up with a good, albeit, windy sub 10 time. Consistent improvement is the goal especially against top ranked competition.

this.

another noteworthy aspect is that his time was impressive even with several hiccups in the race. that he can drop such a fast time with all the (suddenly present) pressure and without an error-free run bodes VERY well for his future.

I have a young sprinter from Belgium to keep an eye on . Sam Van Dooren is only 18 and just ran a 10.24 +0.7. This is a very good
time and this is what makes it more impressive. The kid only has a p.b. in the 60 meters of 6.94. That's very slow. So he isn't very
explosive and lacks the strength needed for a good drive phase yet he expodes over the last half of the 100 meters. Just a thought
that this kid could become a very talented sprinter in the near future!

Is it just me or Adaejah Hodge looks more like a man than a woman? There is so much trickery with men in womens sports these days. I could list alot of WNBA Players that are not female in my opinion. I see many in track that I also have suspicions of. Regardless I don't
believe any sprinter of that young and age can run that fast without alot of help from flinstone vitamins in my honest opinion.

What are your guys thoughts on this? Thank is advance.
Black women are generally more masculine with higher testosterone, which can be seen in their behaviour. I remember the women's 800m final in the Rio Olympics, when it turned out all three of the (black) medallists were actually men (4th, 5th and 6th were normal white European females). Add that to the pharma they take.....in fact Hodge already tested positive in 2024.

I agree. Following up a 9.89 with a 9.91 is excellent. Hope he can become a consistent sub-10 guy.

Sounds like LeMaitre. He had a terrible start but used to come storming through at the end. Man, what a sprinter he could have been if his mental fortitude had matched his physical talent.

There is a big meet in Germany. Here is the link to watch it free for the track fans here.

Some South Africa News our of France today. In the Meeting De Montgeron we had some fireworks on the track in the Mens 100 Meters!

19 year old Marco Ferreira ran a new Meet Record of 10.04 +1.8 to win the race and set yet another personal best for his year. This
teen sensation is tearing up the track and bringing back memories of Lematre who ran 10.03 at 19 along with Matt Shirvington. To run
this fast as a teenager bodes well for this kids future. Let's hope he has the right coaching staff, family & friends advising him wisely.

Not to forget about the 2nd place finisher. Our friend Emilie Erasmus ran a new seasons best of 10.05. So he only lost by 1/100th of a
second. Emilie Erasmus may be quite a bit older but his legs still have so much life left. He runs with an explosiveness that is so fun to
watch. Just a powerhouse of a man and quite the elite sprinter. I'm so happy for him as this is close to his personal best time from
many years ago.

Congrats to both of these South African Sprinters!

This instagram video was recorded after his 10.09 race back in April Now combine with with todays 10.04 race. The kid is a phenom!

Femke Bol Junior maybe? Emma Zapletalova ran a world lead of 52.30 to win the Diamond League today. This girl is on fire! Great to see.
It's also a meet record and a new national record! On top of that is the 6th fastest Womens 400 Meters Hurdles ever!

It should be noted that Marco also ran 10.04 in his heat before the final, and the wind was a little less strong, 1.5w. So he ran 10.04 twice in within an hour and 15 minutes. That's very impressive.
Emilie also ran well in the same heat - 10.09.
An impressive outing for both of them.

Audrey Leduc wins her 3rd straight Canadian Championships in the Womens 100 Meters running a time of 10.94 slightly windy on a very wet track in the cold. This woman is just so much fun to watch. I hope she can get into the 10.80's in the next 2 years and bring home Canada a medal at the Olympics or at the World Championships.
