2026 Track Results

Trey Cunningham with a great race in Rome, winning in a World Leading time, and a Personal Best of 12.98!

He joins very elite company in the sub-13 club.

Henriette Jaeger of Norway wins the women's 400m at the Rome Diamond league in a great time of 49.60. I believe that is the #4 time in the world. She is a little dynamo.
Kelly Hodgkinson, the #1 800m runner, came 7th with a PB of 51.14.

Finally he does it. He flirted with that sub 13 for a long time. He was so close a few times but now he has done it. This is great
and I hope he gets him his confidence and swagger back from college. He was almost unbeatable at Florida State. He just may
have the talent to make a run at the world record. The first step is to run sub 13's more often. I'm happy for Trey.

Italian Sprinter Samuele Ceccarelli ran a time of 10.20 +1.7 yesterday. Not blazing but a step back into respectability. Many of us here
and in Italy had such high hopes for his potential but he has mostly regressed from about 3 or 4 years ago. Regardless it's good to see
him get a nice wind legal time to build his confidence early in the summer season.

That's a big 400 PB for Keely. She is in the best shape of her life, and targeting the 800m world record this summer. It's the oldest in track and field, held by one of the old communist druggies.

Yannick Wolf got a horrible start today but still managed a 2nd place in a time of 10.14 +0.8 He should have went sub 10.10 but maybe next time. Youngster Heiko Gussmann ran a 10.19 in his first race of the year.

Konstantin Krylov opened up his outdoor season with a 10.17 0.0 wind. Not too bad for his first outing.

Trevor Bassitt ran a new PB of 47.37 in a 400m hurdles race that was about as close it could possibly be.
He came in 2nd by 2/1000ths of a second!

Blaskowski might be the chosen one… He didnt begin running track till his jr year of high school and he’s only 23.

23 year old Slovenian Sprinter Anej Curin Prapotnik ran a new p.b. of 10.18 +0.3 yesterday. That's a very fast time for this young man. Hoping
he can use that as a solid base to build on and get faster. Prapotnik brings back memories of Matic Osovnikar.

He will be in the Diamond League 100 Meters tommorow. If the pressure doesn't get him I can see another new personal best time!
