The Tennessee Titans are bland and dark, like a bowl of plain brown rice. The team is one of the blackest each year while piling up the loses and they have nearly zero players worth caring about. They really bottomed out under ultra Caste Clown Brian Callahan, who was just fired. In comes another stooge, Robert Salah, who's already failed as a head coach with little confidence it will be any different. To add to the laugh track, another failed HC was brought in as the OC. The portly dunce Brian Daboll. The early returns are laughable with the Titans getting stopped by the Jets of all teams in week 1. Let's see the few White athletes who have to suffer through this season.

Pretty similar to last year with a slight increase in starters being the only positive development. The main new starter of interest is 2nd year TE Gunnar Helm out of University of Texas. He had a very strong rookie year with 44 receptions on 55 targets, 357 yards, 2 TDs across 16 games (10 starts) — an 80% catch rate and a franchise record for most catches by a rookie tight end. He gradually took over the starting job from veteran Chig Okonkwo, playing more than half the offensive snaps in 6 of the final 7 games. A number of pundits predict a breakout season but I suspect his ceiling will be limited by Cam Ward. The former #1 pick is looking like a bust at this point with many msm figures already dismissing him as such.
Backup TE Daniel Bellinger followed his old coach here from the Giants and is mostly know for his blocking. Mitchell Trubisky is the other offensive backup to know. If Cam Ward fails badly enough, would the team pivot to the 10 year veteran who would almost assuredly run the offense more successfully? I guess time will tell.
The offensive line bumps up to 3/5ths White if you consider Fernando Carmona Jr White, which I do. Carmona was a camp standout who surprisingly won the starting role as a rookie. The standout however is LG Peter Skoronski, who rates as one of the top guards in football. The former 1st round pick took a couple years but has proved his value recently.
On defense, the Titans are down to lone White man Cody Barton. This seems to be Robert Salah's MO over the years as the 49ers DC and the Jets HC. One standout White player but not in single one more. Barton is a veteran who's always been a White Tackling Machine (ATM), albeit an anonymous one. It appears that the Titans are in the process of replacing him as a starter, however he played nearly the every defensive snap in week 1. A situation to monitor but don't expect a good outcome.
7th round pick Jaren Kanak, Joel Wilson and Xavier Restrepo would all make the 53 man roster more interesting. Wishful thinking but this is an F level team and one that CFers would likely be better off skipping each week.
