The 49ers return as likely the most exciting offense in the NFL. Lead by Christian McCaffrey, the greatest white running back of all time, the 49ers are must watch TV, and I hope everyone gets a chance to follow and appreciate his dominance while he is still in the league. It doesn’t end at McCaffrey though, the 49ers have multiple white stars on offense. Generational TE George Kittle, the greatest modern fullback Kyle Juszczyk, and Mr Irrelevant turned Pro Bowl QB Brock Purdy. Unfortunate 49ers news of the year is former first round wide receiver Ricky Pearsall will miss the year with (mismanaged) injury sadly. Three white starters on the line (looks like 4 but Puni is part poly). Superstar DE Nick Bosa is no longer the sole white defender, Luke Gifford is listed as starting SAM linebacker.
The 49ers have completely botched Ricky Pearsalls injury recovery, and their entire roster is perpetually injured. Kittle is set to return, McCaffrey has frequently been banged up, Purdy has been hurt, Bosa major injuries, let’s hope this disaster of a training staff figures things out. Who knows, maybe it really is the EMF waves from the substation next to their facility….
This team is must watch football, and the AFC West is absolutely must watch football given the 49ers, Seahawks, and Rams are all great teams and rivals, with solid rosters. Their total numbers aren’t amazing, but they are top heavy with white stars.
This year the 49ers will start with 9 starters and 17 whites on the active roster, and have between 1 and 3 players on injured reserve who would be, or will wind up on the active roster. Not bad but a decline from 21 total whites last year.
