Thanks to everyone who supported in the team writeups, we have the data* to see where teams stack up from best to worst in terms of giving White athletes the opportunity in the NFL. To rank them, I'm assigning 2 points for each starter and 1 point per reserve, as a starter should be weighted more heavily than a seldom used backup. The league average came to 21 points for a benchmark number. For reference, the average in 2024 & 2025 was 20 and 19 in 2023:

The Cream of the Crop

Pittsburgh Steelers, 24 (6): 30 [+5] +14 in last 2 years
Minnesota Vikings*, 21 (8): 29 [-1]
Denver Broncos*, 19 (9): 28 [-2.5]
Detroit Lions^, 19 (7): 26 [+1]
Las Vegas Raiders^, 19 (7): 26 [+3]
Los Angeles Rams, 20 (6): 26 [+1]
Seattle Seahawks^*, 18 (8): 26 [+2] +14 in last 2 years
Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 19 (7): 26 [+3]
San Francisco 49ers#, 17 (8): 25 [-6]
Indianapolis Colts^, 17 (7): 24 [-2.5]

Run of the Mill Caste Squads

Buffalo Bills*, 16 (6): 22 [-4]
Chicago Bears*, 18 (4): 22 [+5] +10 in 2 years since Ben Johnson hiring
Houston Texans*, 17 (5): 22 [+9] +12 after rock bottom 2024
Jacksonville Jaguars, 17 (5): 22 [-3]
Philadelphia Eagles*, 16 (6): 22 [-2]
Kansas City Chiefs, 17 (4.5): 21.5 [+0.5]
Miami Dolphins*, 16 (4.5): 20.5 [+9.5]
Cincinnati Bengals, 14 (5): 19 [-5] -9 in last 2 years
Los Angeles Chargers^, 13 (6): 19 [+1]
New York Giants#, 14 (5): 19 [---]
New York Jets, 14.5 (4.5): 19 [+4]
New England Patriots, 13 (5): 18 [---]

Worst of the Worst ("Ultra Black")

Arizona Cardinals*, 13 (4): 17 [+3]
Atlanta Falcons, 13 (4): 17 [---]
Washington Redskins, 15 (2): 17 [+1]
New Orleans Saints, 12.5 (3.5): 16 [+1]
Tennessee Titans, 12 (4): 16 [+1]
Baltimore Ravens, 12 (3): 15 [-2]
Green Bay Packers, 10 (3): 13 [+2]
Carolina Panthers, 10.5 (2): 12.5 [-1.5]
Dallas Cowboys, 9 (3.5): 12.5 [-1.5]
Cleveland Browns, 9 (2.5): 11.5 [-7.5] right back where they were in 2024

# indicates a team with a starting White RB
^ indicates a team with a starting WR
* indicates a team with a starting S or CB

I just wanted to bump this before the afternoon games start, as I posted this at an odd time for engagement.

One positive note, is the league average team score went up this year to 21 after years of 20, 20 and 19. That means that there was an uptick in White players, or at minimum starters. Never bad to have some small wins within the constraints of the CS.

Regarding some trends, there were the bottom feeder franchises that have trended positively in resent years. The Seahawks being the best example as a +14 since Macdonald replaced the decrepit Wigger Pete. The Bears have also had a positive shift (+10) seemingly aligned with Ben Johnson’s arrival. The Steelers and Texans should also be commended for a good two year trend. Their reasons for the shift is harder to pinpoint but notable nonetheless. The single season winner is the Dolphins, who went from the darkest team to a team comfortably in the middle.

Conversely, the Bengals should be shamed for the worst two year trend of -9. They used to be a CF favorite but they’re just a typical Caste squad now. The single season stinker is the Browns, reverting back to their coal black norm after a brief season of positive uptick.

Also there are 9 teams with a starting White safety or cornerback. This has to be a high water mark the last decade, but it could be even further back as the 00s and 90s were awful too.

Very cool, thanks for your work in compiling the data this way.

What accounts for the half point in a few teams' tallies?

Good question. Either two things in my totally made up points systems (haha). Either players that are racially ambiguous where there is isn’t a consensus on CF whether members root for them. Example is Kaden Elliss on New Orleans. The half points for starters can also come via fullbacks, who Don astutely mentioned in his write ups, might only be on the field for a quarter or third of snaps.

This is what makes CF a "Go-To" ! Lurkers take notice in this tedious research! Thanks Freethinker

Counted the * last night and saw 9!! Encouraging ! And by looking at the 2026 DB College preview...looks more promising coming down the pipeline

Interesting to see the Patriots just barely made the cut as "Run of the Mill".

And how dark the Cowboys are. If your not gonna start one Whitey on Defense ; at least have a QB ; Not even the back up either
But the Steelers turn around has been eye popping! These TWO Teams Demographics have been nearly reversed from years past

Like the .5 reference...understood exactly what you were doing ..for me would count a 53 man Roster 15-34-4 (the 4 would consist of Poly's or Evan Hull Avery Johnson types

Meant to comment yesterdat ; but the College Stats / Box Scores got side tracked
