Unless I am blind. Don't think this has been posted yet.

Decent start for my Bruins. J.J. looks nice out there. Much needed speed and skill for us. And two nice goals. Young gun Hagens also with his first goal, will be fun to watch his development.

Looking around the league. Awful to see Barkov go down again.. Hoping he will be back on the Ice soon.

Toronto traded for Kirill Marchenko. Should be a nice move for both.

Alex Ovechkin has announced this is his final season. He's 41 and has 929 career goals. He'll retire with a career mark that may take many years to surpass, if ever, as no one thought Wayne Gretzky's long-time record would be broken before Ovi came along.

I'm always Penguins-centric during the regular season until the playoffs start. It's always great to have hockey underway.

Yes many young stars have gotten off to hot starts and looked like the could accumulate crazy totals and test the record but injuries and aging cut their quest well short. Auston Matthews was compared to Ovie and he has had back to back relatively mediocre seasons and looks like he won't be able to get close to this total.

Ovie was a hidden secret until he approached this record with the recent television revenue growth in hockey if he was a decade younger his spotlight would have been much larger earlier in his career.

Two short handed goals on same PP. Awful from the Bruins. Hagens with another goal although he didn't play great.

Ovi will be a huge miss. Pleasure to have watched him. And I think I read his last game will be against Sid all going well, a fitting ending.
