Since 2006 Virginia Tech has started 5, 4, 5, 6, 7, 7, 7, 7, 8, 7, 5, 6, 5, 5, 4, 6, 6,, 6 and 2 white athletes. In 2025 the Hokies look to start 7.
The Hokies have plenty of depth on the offensive line.
True to form the Hokies have zero White QBs on their roster - Garret Rangel and Davi Belfort are mestizos and the rest are upside americans. I've always equated Va Tech with being the forerunners of black quarterbacks since the Vick era. Brent Pry's disappointing tenure hangs in the balance with a questionable QB room.
Players to look out for are WR/PR Tucker Holloway, LB Will Johnson, LB George Ballance, LB Brody Jones, S Tyler Childress
Some defensive players of note are
LB Brett Clatterbaugh who has impressive accolades from the cucked recruiting services:
Rated as a four-star linebacker by ESPN and Rivals and a three star linebacker by 247 Sports and On3 … Ranked as the No. 12 prospect in Virginia by 247 Sports and the No. 48 linebacker prospect nationally … Ranked as the No.10 prospect in Virginia by ESPN … Ranked as the No. 16 prospect in the state and No. 60 linebacker recruit in the country by On3 … Ranked as the No. 15 prospect in the state and No. 24 linebacker recruit nationally by Rivals.
DL Aycen Stevens
