2025 NFL Week 9

It’s all about CMC for me today.
Bills beating the Chiefs also.
As a yinzer, rooting for Pittsburgh, but losing to Jones wouldn’t break my heart. Pittsburgh needs a complete makeover. Aside from the linebacker room..

It would be nice if the Bengals could upset Gayleb Williams and launch the Bears into their typical midseason nosedive.

La Porta great run after catch to the end zone, Lions up 7 0. Goff and La Porta on fire in 1st drive La Porta 3 for 62 and a TD after 1 drive.

Jones has been nicked up a lot but is so obviously the Bengals' third best receiver but I believe he doesn't have a catch yet this season, operating purely as an elite WSTD. Iosivas is in his third season and for reasons known only to Zac Taylor is entrenched as the starter despite rarely being targeted (11 receptions despite being on the field all the time). Jones and Burrow are the only two players worth rooting for with the defense becoming all WGA at breathtaking speed.

Jaxson Dart with a perfectly executed first drive. Even without many playmakers, Dart makes the Giants offense dangerous.

I’m a couple minutes behind, due to watching multiple games.
Just saw the other Pierce catches... Good start kid.

Vikings Lions game looks to be a stormer. 7 all after 5 minutes of first quarter. McCarthy answers with a great throw and even better catch to be fair by Justin Jefferson almost one handed in the corner. McCarthy and Goff could have a shootout here.

McCarthy needs an improved showing in this game otherwise the Vikings may go to the trade market if they think they can make the playoffs. They're definitely looking around and even Brosmer might get a shot if McCarthy doesn't look better.

I didn't realise he had been that bad, thought he had been injured?

Jack Campbell with a great tackle then commentator talks about how great he has been one of only three defenders with at least 60 tackles and 3 sacks.

Missed all of his rookie season, most of his second season so far and honestly other than a nice fourth quarter in his first start this year hasn't looked good. Still essentially a rookie but the Vikings might decide they're better off this season with someone else at the helm down the stretch. Might or might not be fair but J. J. needs to stay healthy and start showing his potential pretty quickly.
