The Wild Card round is starting today. The Phillies and Cubs are the top rooting interests for us. The Cubs are starting 8/9 Whites today (along with Seiya Suzuki - Japenese). They also have a 4/5 White rotation (along with Shota Imanaga - Japanese). Their only non-White pitcher in the bullpen is closer Daniel Palencia who has had a solid season from the looks of it. The Phillies got a bye and will play starting on Thursday. The Phillies are viewed as on of the favorites to make it to the World Series. It would be so cool to see them win it after getting so close in 2022.

Yeah, "Guardians" is the lamest lame name that could possibly be concocted. It's even worse than the "Commanders", at least being Washington DC it makes a modicum of sense. I actively root against this Cleveland team no matter who they play. They once had the great Chief Wahoo as their mascot.
 
Tough game for the Phillies, hopefully they bounce back in game 2. If they had Wheeler I would like their chances better but they can still take the series
 
I’m so sick of the Phillies being a high powered offense, then various guys getting dinged up and show up to the playoffs rusty.

Yep. Chicago losing to Milwaukee as well. Was hoping for a Phillies/Cubs matchup.
 
Hopefully Brew Crew can close it out tonight against the FIBs.

Blue Jays beat the Yankees 5-2, win the series 3-1, and advance to the ALCS, which is their first such appearance since 2016. Great game from infielder Ernie Clement, who batted .643 and scored 2 runs.
 
Cal Raleigh has hit a HR in the first game of the League Championship against the Bluejays. The Mariners are winning 2-1 in the top of the 7th.
It's Raleigh's second HR of the post season.
 
Mariners up 2 games to 0! Dominated 10-3 today against Blue Jays.

Brewers and Dodgers trading solid pitching and defense. Through 5 it’s a goose egg score wise.!
 
Road teams won the first two games of each series. One thing that I did like was the throwback pitching by the Dodgers. Blake Snell went 8 innings in game 1 while Yamamoto pitched a complete game (!) in game 2. Nice to not have to see the pitcher pulled in the 6th inning even when they are rocking and go to a bullpen carousel.

It seems like the Blue Jays are whiter than the Mariners so i'll be rooting for them. Would like to see Scherzer get another ring.

But we've got Raleigh to root for on the Mariners.

Of course the Dodgers are far whiter than either of these teams.
 
Cal Raleigh just hit a solo homer to give the Mariners a 3-1 lead. Neither of these teams aside from rare palefaces like Cal deserve any CF support.
