Since 2005, Maryland has started 4, 5, 5, 4, 4, 10, 8, 9, 8, 6, 7, 3, 4, 5, 3, 1, 1, 0, and 2 white players (excluding 2015 where there was no write-up). In 2025 they are projected to start 1.
Mike Locklsley has had almost nothing to show in six seasons in terms of both memorable wins and playing white athletes. The team has 37 newcomers this year according to 247sports and just two of them are lunch pail-type guys. I would think this must be among the very darkest rosters, probably even more so than the worst of the SEC teams. If normies were paying any attention you would think they may wonder why Maryland consistently loses to the likes of Minnesota, Northwestern, and Iowa despite the Terrapins' "superior talent."
Starter
C Michael Hershey
