FAU has started 6, 6, 9, 6, 7, 5, 6, and 4 Whites from 2005-2012. No write up was done in 2013-2014. Since 2015, they've started 6, 7, 6, 3, 3, 6, 3, 3, 4 and whites. I expect 7 this year

Historically, FAU is a pretty par for the course team caste-wise. 34 year old Zach Kittley is in his first year of HC and the QB depth chart is suddenly all white. Kittley told the conference media day they would prioritize finding high character "good dudes" but also emphasized recruiting south Florida, so we shall see. Their first class did bring in two white WRs and some defensive personnel but it still certainly wasn't ideal demographically. WR Easton Messer and QB Caden Veltkamp come over from WKU so that should be a fun connection.

Veltkamp and Messer transferring together should benefit them both. Nice to see a couple of White kids stick together in the portal. Hope it pays off on the field!

I’ve never heard of Kittley but his initial work seems promising. I agree very cool seeing Veltkamp and Messer stick together during transfer process. Hell even 2 overachievers on defense is something!!
