Never thought I’d see the day when my hometown Lakers would be the toast of CF!

Lmao. Even way back in the 1980's the Lakers usually had 1 token white guy. Kurt Rambis was one of them back in the day. The
Lakers have always been very dark. That's what made the Bird Celtics vs the Lakers Magic so good! Great to see LA lighten up
finally. Even more important is outside of Lebron James, all their best superstar players are white.
 
Mac McClung scored 12 points in 19 minutes tonight. The Pacers are still bringing him off the bench. Maybe they will let him start while
so many players are hurt. I have no doubt he could put up 20 plus points a night with ease. His 3 point shooting has been awful but other
than that he looks good on both ends of the floor. He is just too explosive to stop for a whole game.

yeah he better figure out his 3 because that’s the reason he’s been stuck in the G league.

Not really. They blame his lack of size and defense mostly. Which is a joke. He had 2 steals and a block last game in 13 minutes. Tonight he had 3 steals. McClung is like a pick pocket with stealing the ball. He is beyond explosive with his running & jumping ablility. It's all lies that the media and so called experts have given for his lack of a REAL OPPORTUNITY to make an nba team.

He was 5-12 overall which is almost 50 percent on all shots tonight. I think your being a little too hard on the kid. Give him
minutes and let him continue to learn the playbook and I guarantee you haven't seen anything yet!

On a side note the Bulls remain undefeated behind 32 points from Josh Giddey! You love to see it!

I'm behind McClung, but he is small, not that there haven't been small black players as well, but that's no excuse no matter the color. I saw a few highlights of the Mavericks game the other night and Cooper Flagg abused him pretty good. Blocked a couple of his shots and shot over him with ease.
One thing I didn't like was Flagg taunting McClung's size. Motioning with his hand how short Mac is. Flagg needs to be a little more humble as he was exposed a few nights earlier against Wemby!

What a box score. Lakers, Bulls, Jazz, Nuggets, Thunder, even the Hornets with the rookies Kneuppel, Kalkbrenner and McNeely, are all awesome to watch now.
 
Laravia is nice! I’ve never enjoyed watching the Lakers more than I have last night. Probably showing my lack of age there lol.
 
McClung has been solid! Scoring 17 and 5 steals last 2 games is impressive! I hope he can continue that pace the rest of the year. Very pleased Pacers called him up early on, chance to grow with the team. I noticed he was already making acquaintances with Jay Huff on the bench!
 
So, only two games in where he played just fine and now he is the only Pacers player who has not got in the game… at the end of the third.

Pathetic.

McLung is an NBA player and can definitely carve himself a role with the right team that gives him a chance. As you mention, there are and have been small players in the league, both black and white. But you need to make up for that lack of height with other skills. He has the athletic ability, and can hopefully continue to develop the 3-point shot. I’m really glad he’s finally getting a legit opportunity.

But any thought that the league has blackballed him is nonsense. We are truly living in the golden age of the white players in the NBA. CS and Jimmy Chitwood, I’m guessing you’re around my demographic (I’m late 40s). I know there have been a lot of great white players during the 60s-80s, but my memories of the NBA start with the 90s when the league had already started to get much darker. Other than a handful of Euros and American-born role players, there was nothing else out there. It got so bad that I distinctly recall anti-white publications like USA Today and Sports Illustrated turning out articles about the “disappearance of the white American NBA player”.

Things began to slowly change in the early 2000s with an infusion of some great European players like Dirk Nowitzki, Manu Ginobili, the Gasol brothers, and a steady trickle of other quality white players from Spain, Argentina, Lithuania, Turkey and elsewhere. I truly believe those guys served as an inspiration to the current crop of white talent in the NBA today. I’m especially pleased with the noticeable increase of white American players with Cooper Flagg going #1 in this year‘s draft.

Every night you can count on witnessing something awesome, whether it’s 50 point games, triple doubles, game winners, poster dunks, you name it. It’s a good time to be following the NBA and it’s so much better than the NFL in one sense that there is no caste system or forbiden positions.

Look how great his shooting percentage was over last season in the NBA G League. Nothing to worry about. He is a good shooter.

The Indiana Pacers didn't play him at all tonight. They may have won the game but no one off the bench scored more than 5 points. If
the Pacers can't see that McClung is by far the most talented guy off the bench they have then they are blind. Hope to see him back out there for the next game.

It's not racism with McClung right now. He's not doing something that the coach wants from their previous past two losses. We wouldn't know what that is. Rick Carlisle is sending him a message and mentioned he does like his attack attitude. His +/- isn't bad against his peers when he is in but probably needs to demonstrate some shooting consistency. He should get some more shots. Let's see how it plays out.

My only complaint about the L.A. Lakers is that they have caste Dalton Knecht aside like garbage. Hope he can find a way to get out
of there. LaRavia is good but Knecht has All Star Talent. He proved it when he played. Too many talented whites on the same team.
It's a good thing and a bad thing. Knecht would be great in Utah, Chicago or with many other teams. I just believe he won't get much
more than a few random meaningless minutes sometimes. Hope some team pulls off a trade for him.

Watching these 3 white players leading the Lakers with 29, 26, and 25 points, we once again got a reminder of the unbelievable anti-white racism in this league. Anything to keep whitey down. And it didn’t end there, Kon Knueppel with 24-6-5 in a win, Markkanen 29-7-3 in a loss in the same game. The Bulls trio of Giddey, Vucevic, Buzelis leading the way in a losing effort, Grayson Allen and Collin Gillespie getting it done in a win against SAS. These performances are a nightly occurence. The NBA is making it very clear that white players will continue to be blackballed and denied opportunities, pure racism!
