The Central Florida Knights have started 10, 10, 13, 12, 7, 5, 3, 4, 4, 4, 6, 6, 8, 5, 4, 4 and 4 white players over the past 18 seasons. In 2024, they will start 4 once again.
The quarterback room is now coal-black after the departure of John Rhys-Plumlee. Trent Whittemore returns to start at wide receiver (he almost exclusively blocked last year). He started his career at Florida but barely played there, either.
Linebacker Ethan Barr grad-transfers from Vanderbilt to become the only white player on the defensive two-deep.
