2024 NFL Week 13

Football Dad may be busy with family activities today so I'll help get this week's thread started.

The Thanksgiving games aren't too compelling but since it's Thanksgiving everyone will be watching anyway. Detroit should handle Chicago easily in the early game, the second game is a real dullard matchup of the Cowboys vs. NYG. Drew Lock may get the start for the Giants and I've always liked him and believe he's another White QB who can still develop in the right organization. However the Giants would not appear to be one of them to put it mildly. The evening game of GB-Miami may or may not be high scoring but like the middle game will be light on Whites even by NFL standards as five of the six teams playing today are anything but "relatively White friendly." Go Lions!

Other games of note include the Raiders-Chiefs tomorrow afternoon, and on Sunday the Cards-Vikings, and 49ers-Bills are interesting matchups. Bo Nix and the Broncos get the national stage on Monday night when they play the Blacks, er Browns. Cleveland did do something shocking the other day when they claimed DE Cameron Thomas off waivers. Will wonders never cease!

Thanks Don. Busy helping my wife with Thanksgiving prep, deep frying the bird this year. Just tuned in the Lions - Bears game to see LaPorta catch a 3 yard TD pass from Goff.

Bears defense is giving their best effort but it won't matter. So far with only 3 minutes left in the first half the Bears offense with the generational talent at QB has amassed a grand total of ZERO first downs!!!

Still feels weird that the Lions are heavy favs to win a game. Even though they have been a team with high capacity for some time now.
Entertaining but tight play, a good amount of whites and so many decades of absolute tire-fires. Can’t help but like them a little.

Already desperation time for Da Bears. At the two minute warning on their own 38 it looks like they will try to get their very first 1st down on 4th and 2!

.....And still no first downs. They will go to the locker room with zero! It's a helluva accomplishment! Combination of a good Lions defense and a dreadful Bears offense.

Came back from doing a few chores to find that the Lions fumbled the ball away enabling Da Bears to generate two garbage-time 1st downs in the closing seconds of the half (one by penalty).

Oh interesting to note, the only real 1st down by Chicago was a pass to the ignored-all-game white TE Cole Kmet. Huh, maybe they should throw to him more?

There's always ebbs and flows to an NFL season but as of today the Lions are the clear-cut best team in the league, and a CF favorite to boot, which makes it enjoyable.

It's a hilarious game. Williams has thrown some really ugly balls. The score really should be 31-0 though.

I assumed this clown was another mumble rapper I’ve never heard of. Are DWFs allowing blacks to “take over” country music too? Heard the song, and it was crap, yet I’m told he’s topping the charts? Very disappointing….

I only watched for a minute, he crooned a normal country song with his deep voice that sounded fairly traditional. I then tuned in to watch some of The Hobbit for the remainder of halftime. Just a bunch of white guys battling orcs.
