Since 2005, Maryland has started 4, 5, 5, 4, 4, 10, 8, 9, 8, 6, 7, 3, 4, 5, 3, 1, 1 and 0 white players (excluding 2015 where there was no write-up). In 2024 they are projected to start 2 (3 if the White QB wins the position battle).
This team and roster are a joke. Billy Edwards Jr has flashed talent and ability while sitting behind the now unemployed little brother of Tua Tagiolova. They did bring in a grifter black quarterback from NC State that elected to quit on the team last year to preserve eligibility. It will be an uphill battle for Edwards Jr to grab the QB position. Looking back at Phall's write-up from last year I think that Fleming passes (or fails) the rizz test. He looks like a White kid to me from his historical photos and family photo on social media.
