Kentucky has started 11, 8, 3, 4, 3, 8, 8. 4, 5, 6, 5, 3, 4, 6, 4, 3 and 4 whites since 2005. In 2024 the Wildcats remain at 4 White starters.

QB Brock Vandagriff left the logjam of the position at UGA. Hoping he has a good season.

Stoops claims that he builds the roster with "blue collar" guys however when I look at the composition of this team "blue collar" doesn't really seem applicable.

Players to look out for are QB Beau Allen.

Offense
QB Brock Vandagriff
TE Josh Kattus
C Eli Cox
RG Jager Burton

Defense
None

I remember when Kentucky played the first black player in the SEC. It was 1967and he played just a few minutes, but it has been downhill for Whites since then.

This write up always bums me out. UK routinely trots out coal black teams, and the old guard of DWFs(90%White) cheers them on gleefully.

Lol. It's just insane looking out how positions are stocked racially wise. "Yes, he's built for that. Note the very dark skin permitting excessive bursts of speed and knee jerk temper should we not award him the running back position." "This guy is white so he should not mind doing the bulk of the blocking work on each play and living out his playing time in obscurity."

Every UK team looks the same, can’t remember a team they’ve had in the past ten years with anyone outside of QB TE or OL

They did have that White LB a few years back Kash Daniel but he was too White to get a shot at the NFL

Yeah pretty pathetic ! You'd think Kentucky would have at least a few White Scholarship players on Defense. Even LSU has 3!

WR Derek Abney is the last White Skill player i can remember ; All America Kick/ Punt Returner 2002..... Broke some NCAA Records; speedy ; dynamic ; played in the NFL for the Colts

Had to look the year up ..that was waaay longer ago than i first thought!

Nice one, 22! Hadn't thought of Abney for a long time but he was simply spectacular as a kick returner and also could/should have been used as a slot machine in the NFL in addition to returning kickoffs and punts. Screwed big time by the big show, no surprise there.

I liked watching Kentucky back when they were roughly half-White, but that's going on 25 or 30 years now. . .
