Hmmm is this black worship or is Swoboda batting for the other team... I have always thought she is partial to women...just my thoughts...

A newcomer, 17yr old Johanna Martin, won the 400m at the German National Championships.
Her time of 52.55 puts her fourth fastest on the European indoor all-time U20 list.
She's basically a high schooler. Pretty impressive.

Iowa Sprinter Kalen Walker runs a blazing time of 6.51 in the Big East Indoor Champs opening round! This kid is so close to running
in the 6.40's as this is the 3rd time he has run at or right about this time range. I predict a 6.49 or 6.48 in the Finals tommorow!

Tyler Azcano was the fastest qualifier in the ACC 60m heats - 6.63.
Meanwhile, Brody Buffington qualified for the SEC 60m finals, also running 6.63.

All of our guys did good today and making the indoor finals is a great step.

Freshman Brody Buffington finished in about the middle of the pack. Freshman Tyler Azcano was 2nd. The most disappointing was
Junior Kalen Walker who ran a 6.61 for 2nd place after his 6.51 yesterday. Just wasn't his day when he was the favorite to win.

Just like in football and basketball many incredible athletes end up in Div 2 or even Div 3. The anti white racial discrimination just never
seems to end. The one thing great about track is if you can find a way to get in the race the clock doesn't lie. You have to fight for a chance
in the sprints and other events but in the end the cream can still rise to the top!

In the 2024 World Indoor Championships today we saw some great performances.

Karsten Warholm and Femke Bol are both in the finals of the 400 meters. They both look great even though they are primarily
400 meter hurdle specialists. They both have a good chance to not only medal but possibly win gold medals.

In the mens 60 meters we only had Henrik Larsson make the finals along with a Japanese Sprinters. Henrik Larsson finished
in 5th place in the finals and I'm happy with that as he is a very big guy and the 60 isn't his strength.

Conrats to Canada's Sarah Mitton from Nova Scotia on winning the womens indoor shotput Gold Medal with a put of 20.22m and she's white!

Coleman the drug cheat is still allowed to compete? Travesty...... Klaver was allowed to run after false starting in her semi final heat, given a yellow card after false starting....well she is fortunate and so are we as we get to see this lady sprint.

Long jump champ says he'd quit if rules change

Miltiadis Tentoglou threatened to quit the long jump shortly after winning the world indoor title, saying he would change events if the sport implements a rule change intended to eliminate foul jumps.

I think it would be cool if they could contest two versions of the long jump. I would be curious to see how far these people could go without the constraints of getting their steps right. A take-off zone version event would be more about pure jumping ability.

Call me a traditionalist but I like the event the way it is. LIke with the high jump, form, strategy, and athletecism all factor in. These men
are already jumping almost 30 feet into a pit. That is far enough. I hate seeing sports change from the history. I really hope that they
don't change the rules. Miltiadis Tentoglou is one of the best long jumpers of all time with all of his medals similar to Greg Rutherford.
Leave the event like it is and enjoy all the aspects that go into being a great long jumper.

She was so close. The 2nd fastest female sprinter in the world is still amazing.

gold in the mens 400 meters final. So our guys took the gold and silver medals as the 2 fastest 400 meters sprinters in the world.

5 out of the 6 Men's finalists in the 400 meters were white. That's pretty amazing.

Also I was glad to see Rani Roisus, Patricia Van Der Weken, and Zoe Hobbs also in the finals.

In the men's 60m, Henrik Larrson took 5th, as WL mentioned. But he was just 8/1000s short of 4th place. He ran well through all the rounds, recording times of 6.59, 6.56, and 6.55.
Shuhei Tada of Japan also made it to the final, and recorded a NR of 6.52 in the heats.

Other highlights for me:
Miltiadis Tentoglou continued his domination of the Long Jump, adding to his gold medal to collection, with another Championship win here.
American Elle St. Pierre broke the African strange hold on the long distance races, beating 2 world champions to win the 3000m in record time.
Similarly, Josh Kerr of Scotland won the men's 3000m.

Northern European women took all the medals in the women Pentathlon.

A race that I am looking forward to tomorrow, is the women's 800m. Jemma Rekkie of Scotland runs in the finals against 5 women from Africa. I hope she can pull off the win in front of the home crowd.
All the finalists in the men's race are white.

One big disappointment - Italy is now represented mainly by blacks. They've a long and successful history in track and field with their own people, but now seem to be going way of France.

What's amazing about Larsson in the 60 meters finals is he ran that 6.55 out of the extreme outside lane with an average start. His
power and acceleration look great.

Would like to see Warholm run some more outdoor 400's occasionally.

Samuel Ceccarelli of Italy just looks so average this year. Hope he can refocus for this summer in an Olympic Year.

Yeah it's sad about Italy going dark like France, England, Germany and many other nations. That's what this mass illegal immigration
has done and sports is only the tip of the ice burg sadly.

Boling (and Trevor Bassitt) ran in the heats on USA 4x400m team today at the World Indoor Championships.
Don't know if he will be running in the final this afternoon.

Alexander Doom (love that name) ran a 46.06 indoors in 2023. His 45.25 in Glasgow cuts .81 off of that. His best outdoor 400 is 44.92. If he could cut that .81 off of that, he'd be up there with the big boys. He is 26 years old now, so he really needs to cash in this coming outdoor season and get himself a great PB.
