Hawaii has had 3, 4, 5, 5, 3, 5 and 2 white starters. No write-ups were done in 2013/2014. Since 2015, they have started 4, 3, 4, 3, 3, 1, 4 and 2 whites. They actually tie their highest with 5 this year.

This is a team and roster that is historically, and continues to be, dominated by polynesian players, making up at least 70% of the team. In fact, there are only about 10-15 white players on the entire roster, with half them starters and almost the other half punters and long snappers. Once that largely upperclassmen group is gone, there will be nothing worth watching. In the mean time, enjoy this team led by RB Landon Sims who has bulked up to 230 and 25 year old transfer WR Spencer Curtis who has starred in the spring.

Offense -
QB - Brayden Schager
RB - Landon Sims
WR - Spencer Curtis

Defense -
DE - Jackie Johnson III
LB - Logan Taylor

Timmy Chang may lead this team back to respectability. Imagine he has the "go-ahead" to bring in more whites since he qualifies as a minority and being off the mainland will not garner any eyeballs for a few years. A team and QB to watch this year and can beat a black UCLA right out of the shoot.
