2024-'25 NHL Season

Yeah, it's been a blast to watch through two games, just great hockey.

Marchand is one of those guys you hate -- except when he's on the team you root for. Definitely underappreciated and may win the Conn Smythe this year if Florida repeats.

Apparently every game is going to be televised only on TNT in the U.S. Not on ABC or even ESPN, but a relatively obscure cable network not known for sports broadcasting. That's what the NHL gets for signing on with ESPN, which has always treated hockey like a minor league sport.

The Panthers flat out dominated the Oilers in Game 3 at home. Florida isn't just big, physical and very talented, they are positionally almost flawless; Edmonton often struggled just to get the puck out of their defensive zone, which goes a long way in strangling their potent offense.

The Oilers came back to tie the series last year after losing the first three games, but if they don't come up with a much better performance in Game 4, I can't see them even making a comeback attempt this year. It had to be a very demoralizing loss for the Oilers, we'll see how they respond.
