There are actually two white scholarship white WRs on this otherwise coal roster, Landon Samson and Zavier Short. They both could see playing time, but the RS freshman Samson especially.

Root for overrated quota Spencer Rattler to fail.

What a bizarre choice for former Yale captain Gargiulo. He's a New York native and must feel like a fish out of water. My only guess is that he's angling for a shot at the pros and found a bigger stage where he was guaranteed playing time.

Apparently, he's already the offensive line leader and won some sort of locker room "toughness" award in the preseason.
