Late in the Saturday matches the U.S. leads the internationals 10-4. The singles matches are tomorrow.

It's taking place at Quail Hollow in Charlotte. This event is still a distant second to the Ryder Cup in excitement and prestige thanks primarily to the Americans dominating it since it began. No LIV players were allowed on either team. Will be interesting to see if that holds for the Ryder Cup next year. . .

The U.S. ends up winning 17.5 to 12.5. It wasn't a complete runaway as many of the singles matches were in doubt yesterday until the Americans finally pulled away and sealed an event they led from the beginning. I watched very little of it but still hope it will someday come to rival the Ryder Cup or at least get closer to doing so.

The 2023 Ryder Cup should be off the charts for excitement after the Americans dominated on their home course last year, finally ending the Euros' dominance. Many of the same young stars who were on that Ryder Cup team also starred during the Presidents Cup, so the '23 Ryder Cup promises to be the most exciting one yet as the Euros have become accustomed to winning when they're the home team.
