Red Raider
Since '05, Baylor has started 6, 5, 9, 9, 10, 3, 6, 8, 8, 6, 7, 6, 6, 7, 7, and 8 white players. In 2022 they look to remain at 8.
QB Blake Shapen looked solid when he took over the starting job last year and hopefully he can put together a big season as a full time starter. TE Ben Sims has been a reliable target for the last few years. DE’s Cole Maxwell and Brayden Utley return, Utley played really well last year and is listed 2nd on the 2 deep but should factor in on defense. Nice LB duo of Dillon Doyle and Matt Jones, they both played well last season and Doyle even scored 2 TD’s on offense.
OFFENSE
QB Blake Shapen
TE Ben Sims
LT Connor Galvin
C Jacob Gall
RT Gavin Byers
DEFENSE
DE Cole Maxwell
LB Dillon Doyle
LB Matt Jones
Players to watch:
QB Luke Anthony, OT Tate Williams, OG Ryan Lengyel, C MJ Ruhman, DE Brayden Utley, DE Cooper Lanz, LB Brooks Miller
