It's a shame there's no solidarity among tennis players, they should have all withdrawn in protest. The Australian Open is dead to me, it used to be a tournament I looked forward to as it's held in January and there's not much else to watch this time of year but I won't watch it as long as Djokovic is banned.

I was thinking the same thing. More so that 1 or 2 others would withdraw in protest, as I already assume that the vast majority are huge conformists as evidenced by the fact that they all must be jabbed. Guess none of the guys want to hurt their careers, upset the applecart or leave money on the table. Novak really is courageous; a true alpha and a man of great conviction.

I will boycott it. Yes I will follow the results but it's b.s. what they did.
On a side note, Nadal has been seen taking tons of pics with Bill Gates and other eugenics globalists. He also keeps pushing the jab. Yes he is one of the greatest ever
but I'm quickly starting to root against him like the some other caste favorites in tennis that we also go against. I love Fed and Djokovic. Nadal is dead to me now.

Australian banks have always been quite happy to financialize the country's real estate market, which has attracted lots of Chinese investment (at both institutional and individual levels). As such, the Australian Open is now a prime sponsorship opportunity for Chinese corporations.
I read rumors that some of the big Chinese corporate sponsors are looking into pulling their dollars (er, yuan) out of the tournament because (legalese blah blah breach of contract). I hope they pull the rug out from under this farce.
My unvaxxed Australian friend says that the normies there are typically angry at Djokovic because their media has painted him as some plague-bearing villain. Australia doesn't really have an 'alternative media' (except for the internet itself), so most people are under the impression that covid has a 20% hospitalization rate, 5% mortality rate, kills kids of all ages, etc. solely because that's what the nightly news tells them. My friend, on the other hand, is well-informed just by reading more truthful and credible sources, like 4chan.

That's not the news we get here at all. And those figures are easily dispelled for anyone who really wants to know what our masthead newspapers report, even if they do lean left.

The only reason the government didn't use the "of unfit character" clause is so he won't be banned for years to come. Very sporting of them, huh?

What did Djokovic "lie" about? He's always made it very clear that he's not vaccinated and will never get the jab. And the government did ban him for years to come - he's banned from entering Australia for 3 years. His only "agenda" is not wanting to drop dead of a heart attack before turning 40. But as you said, believe as you will. Djokovic is the one with a sinister agenda, while Pfizer, Moderna, the government, and the media are as pure as the driven snow. LOL.
The Australian government had no right to jerk Djokovic around like they did, letting him come, repeatedly making conflicting statements, and finally banning him. If they were really serious about this they should have made it clear from the beginning that he wasn't welcome. They did it to try to humiliate him, but as Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said, they only succeeded in humiliating themselves.
The newspapers "lean" left? That's an understatement. I guess Lenin "leaned" left too. It's clear that the Australian media is trying to whip its citizens into a jingoistic frenzy over this incident, portraying Djokovic as a mustache-twirling villain out to make a personal attack on all of Australia, when all he wanted to do was play tennis. Sadly, it looks like with at least part of the population it's working.

I would guess that my mate's "agenda" is not subjecting himself to the global biometric slave grid that will determine your ability to participate in society based on your alignment with government policy. Secondarily, he doesn't want to participate in an endless subscription of (ineffective) experimental gene therapy for a virus that poses no harm to him (and never did).
We've all seen the videos of Australian covid camps, as well as the videos of Australian police kicking protestors in the head, stomping them, and wailing on them with batons. We've seen "quarantine breakers" on the evening news as public enemy number one, and we've seen the night-vision goggles view from a police helicopter chasing three people who were drinking on a rooftop of a building together at night. Conservatives in the USA, regardless of their vaxx status, feel something between total confusion and utter loathing when they see the complete and voluntary surrender of the Australian people. Australia is no longer a prospective destination and no longer exports the charming cultural attitude we used to enjoy consuming here. This tennis deportation episode (which, by the way, was entirely the judgment call of 44-yr old politician Alex Hawke) will have long-lasting effects on the global perception of the whole country. You can take solace in the fact that you're not alone, as many other Western countries will be in line to disgrace themselves. Australia just holds the distinction of doing so happily.

Disappointed but not surprised that Djokovic is banned. The Aussie Commies have taken over into full-on tyranny against their own people. It's a disgusting shame and also a shame our leaders are such paid off puppet pussycats without the cats that they won't put heavy ass sanctions against the leaders of that and any other country going along with this worldwide power grab. At this point I'm pulling for China and/or Russia to end this before it gets any worse by whatever means necessary. Western Civilization is over as long as this is allowed to continue.

Mastermulti is a valued member who has been posting here for 16 years and is an expert on track. His viewpoint on the Covid agenda and how it's being implemented in his country is a minority one here but deserves to be treated respectfully.

AO looks like a clown show with empty stands. Coco Gauff and Sloane Stephens are eliminated. Anybody but Nadal in the men’s draw. He’s a sellout slave. The whole tournament can go eff itself. What a joke of a country. A YouTuber was interviewing fans as they entered the tournament. They unanimously said that Novak was correctly banned because he didn’t follow the “rules.” “Rules” promulgated by the “rulers”, no matter how nonsensical, for the slaves. Disgusting.

Australia has modeled their country after China and North Korea. I feel so bad for the people there but I'm hoping justice prevails at some point. The Australian and New Zealand Citizens have been through so much and none of it was asked for. This was never about a disease or our protection. It was about taking away peoples rights in a totalitarian, draconian power grab worldwide headed for worldwide communism if they succeed.
Do not ever comply with these dictators anywhere. They want us sick, poisoned and dead. Remember that people.
I will continue to boycott this disgusting tournament and really want to see Nadal lose soon. To think I used to be a fan. He chose his side. As for me,

Nadal chose to make a divisive political statement and shouldn't be surprised about losing a lot of fans over it. I'm glad to see those on the Right speaking up. The Left has been winning the culture war because they fight. Too many cuckservatives cuck out with "hurr durr he's still a great athlete/actor/entertainer" whenever a celebrity bashes their side. If we start fighting back we can win.

Denis Shapovalov almost took out Nadal. He pushed him to 5 sets. Sad to see him lose but he played well after the first two sets. He looked very average
early on going down 2 sets to 0 but won the next 2 sets. Hoping this will tire out Nadal and he will lose soon. It's not looking good though as there is really
only 1 guy that has a very good chance to beat him with so many big names getting upset and Djokovic being banned unfairly. Mevedev is still a slight
favorite. Hoping he can win his 2nd grand slam.

It was tough seeing Shapovalov lose. Medvedev winning it all would be a good success story but I'll be happy with anyone except Nadal, Monfils the Great Black Dope, or yet another magical afflete, Felix Auger-Aliassime, a black Faux-Canadian. Hopefully Italian Matteo Berrettini, the #7 seed, can beat Monfils and then Nadal, and Medvedev can beat Auger-Aliassime. Berrettini vs. Medvedev would be a good final. Well, good is a relative term, of course. Maybe one of those guys could have beaten Djokovic fair and square, but now we'll never know.
On the ladies' side we have mulatto Madison Keys vs. #1 seed Ashleigh Barty in the first semifinal. Barty, who looks White, is described by the media as "part Abo." Curiously, she was never considered anything but White until she won the French Open in 2019 (her first Grand Slam title), then she magically became Abo. This is just like what happened with swimmer Anthony Ervin (who is almost entirely White with a tiny bit of black DNA). He was considered White until he won an Olympic gold medal, then the media magically made him black. Ervin himself called out the media on their hypocrisy. Anyway, Barty crushed Jessica Pegula in the quarterfinals 6-2, 6-0. Yes, Jessica is from that Pegula family - her parents own the Buffalo Bills.
The four other ladies still in it are all White. Alize Cornet, who expressed sympathy for Djokovic, is one of them and I hope she can defy the odds and win it all. She's already knocked off Garbine Muguruza and Simona Halep on her path to the quarterfinals.

Nadal wins the Australian Open for his record breaking 21st slam. This win deserves an asterisk due to Novak not being allowed to play. Nadal offered no support for his fellow competitor, and certainly benefited. To make it fair, Rafa should sit out the French.

Novak is better than Nadal on a hard court. Nadal wouldn’t have won if Novak was there.
It’s a crazy conspiracy theory for sure, but maybe Nadal called in a favor from his vaccine salesman “pal” Gates and lobbied the Aussie criminal regime to railroad Novak? He definitely stood to benefit the most. Ok, that’s enough bigunreal posting for today.
