Since 2006, San Diego State has started 12, 9, 9, 8, 11, 12, 10, 10, 7, 8 , 10, 9, 7, 7 and 9 whites. This year it looks to be 7. Sudden infatuation of non-white QBs at SDSU, with no whites in the top three on the position's depth chart. DE Cameron Thomas and LB Caden McDonald, the two white starters on defense, are also two of the best in the Mountain West Conference. It would be nice to see them both drafted after strong senior years.

WR - Elijah Kothe (battle for position)
TE - Jay Rudolph
TE - Daniel Bellinger
LT - Zachary Thomas
LG - Dominic Gudino

Defense -
DE - Cameron Thomas
LB - Caden McDonald

Back ups include TE Aaron Greene, C Thomas Mirabella, RG Kyle Trombley, DT Wyatt Draeger, and LB Garrett Fountain. While there are some interesting white players on the roster, this deep will probably darken up for the next few years.

The LA Times' Robert J. Lopez reports five San Diego State football players have been accused of rape at a 2021 house party.
According to the article published earlier last week, athletes across San Diego State's campus are aware of a rape that involved several players at an off-campus house party. The allegedly underaged victim, who has not been named, was reportedly unconscious and left bloodied and bruised after the assault. Some student athletes aware of the incident have voiced their concerns since the October 16th assault, with one saying, "I'm very scared and worried that nothing is being done about this," via a message through an anonymous reporting system. San Diego State officials have reportedly not launched an internal investigation, or student disciplinary proceeding. According to an associate vice president in charge of overseeing campus safety, the "serious nature" of the allegations has put an internal campus investigation on hold as San Diego police continue their investigation -- which remains ongoing.
