2021 LSU Tigers

Since 2006 LSU has started 7, 6, 4, 5, 5, 4, 6, 5,4,3, 4, 5, 3 3 and 4 whites since 2006. They look to start 4 in 2021.

QB Myles Brennan is out indefinitely with a broken arm - he may be one of those snake-bitten players who will have injuries hinder him. Max Johnson should be the starter and judging on how he played last season the QB position should be in good shape. Freshman QB Garrett Nussmeier seems to be generating a bit of buzz himself.

Players to look out for include WR/TE Jack Bech (highly ranked freshman - looks to be getting the racial slotting treatment), TE Nick Storz, Freshman DB Matthew Langlois (4.4 40/Dominant football player in Louisiana in high school)

Orgeron out at the end of the year. The Tigers QB depth chart features three QBs that can play any where in the country. I figured Brennan would be transferring anyway due to Johnson’s play at the position. Nussmeier also generated buzz in the off-season. It’s not out of the realm of possibility that 2 or even all 3 of these players leave via the transfer portal.

LSU is certainly not a White athlete friendly team but Orgeron was at least smart enough to insert Burrow into the starting lineup to deliver a national championship and erase several seasons of black quarterback mediocrity.
