Again gotta compliment Griese, he knows what its like to try and succeed in an impossible situation (replacing Elway) .

Called out Philadelphia big time In not doing enough to build up Wentz and wasting a 2nd rounder!
I didn’t watch too much but it was nice of Griese to speak some truth.

The only real highlight of MNF was Dallas Goedert returning strong with 7 catches for 75 yards and a touchdown. Wentz being the leading rusher with 45 yards also shows what he was up against last night. No help from his teammates or the play calling.

I understand Wentz has had some poor play this year, but he is surrounded by mediocrity or worse up and down the roster.

Why can’t white QBs be given the weapons blacks get... think of Mahomes’ supporting cast or Jackson’s? Why is it only young white quarterbacks that get selected by terrible teams?

Agree that Griese, and Louis Riddick also, pointed out what Wentz is up against all during the (poorly played and boring) game while also criticizing various parts of his game. By contrast, "Booger" would have had a field day gleefully ripping Carson the entire game, which is another reason the new MNF crew is a breath of fresh air for the most part, though it's hard sometimes to know if it's Griese or Riddick speaking.

It would hardly be surprising if Wentz has lost some confidence. Terrible talent around him, endless injuries to linemen, receivers and tight ends, and vicious DWFs in Philly who want him to fail. The o-line has gone from a great strength during their Super Bowl run to a sumo-dominated swiss cheese joke. Not to mention it's been pretty obvious from reports that at least some of his black teammates don't like him and may well be trying to undercut him. The inexplicable drafting of Jalen Hurts in the second round this year, a major "project," only makes it worse and illustrates the incompetence of Howie Roseman. Roseman's only pick in the past 8 drafts who has made All Pro is. . . Carson Wentz.

Wentz needs out of there fast. He sure would look good throwing the ball in New England next year.

Bob Griffin aka The Gremlin with an early pick 6. Nice to see he’s still in the NFL taking up a roster spot.

RG Knee pulled a hammy near the end of the first half, but stayed in the game. If he can’t run, it’s hopeless for the Ravens. I’m guessing McSorley is the backup?

I have to say that The Gremlin would make a decent scat back as evidenced by his 68 rushing yards today. However, as a quarterback he’s terrible. 25 yards and everything has been a dink and dunk.

Majority white O-line in Pittsburgh I see. Nice.

No fan at all of Lamar Jackson so nice to see he's out. But RG3 though...
Ravens one of the most "diverse" teams in the league?

Ebron with the drop. Pittsburgh used to have a stable of quality White tight ends...trending in the wrong direction there.

Baltimore’s offense today isn’t much better than Denver’s with their practice squad WR playing QB.

McSorley leading a comeback. They have the fake crowd noise up so loud, I can barely hear Crissy and Tirico.

Best result possible! Raven’s lose with The Gremlin stinking it up so bad he was benched. Then McSorely played pretty well, showing that he should be the backup going forward.

For Pittsburgh, Watt and Spillane were the leading tacklers, with TJ also adding two sacks!

Other than Big Ben, these two defensive studs are one of the only reasons to watch this team. The sad thing is they may go undefeated and try to break the Miami Dolphins perfect unbeaten record and super bowl championship. I hope
this doesn't happen. The Pats almost did it and I would have been ok with that team but not this one. The 1972 Miami Dolphins were as good to our guys as very few teams. They had whites contribute on both sides of the ball. That team
was and is still legendary. I don't want to see Pittsburgh who isn't racially fair win it all let alone go undefeated. The biggest racism in the big 3 sports is always against whites.

If they're going to do the 14-team playoffs, I'd rather the Steelers be the one AFC team with a first-round bye. One more game that the Chiefs have to play = one more chance for a team to get lucky and knock them out.

As Caste as the Steelers are, I'd much rather see them go all the way than the Chiefs. If the Chiefs win another Super Bowl we'll never hear the end of it with "muh dynasty", "da wave of da future", insert more libturd clichés here, etc.

The Steelers started 7 White players today, including 2 on defense. Technically 8 if you want to include little used fullback Derek Watt. Additionally Vance McDonald plays some at tight end though Eric Ebron has moved ahead of him as McDonald once again has had injury problems. They also had Ryan Switzer for a couple seasons but he didn't do much.

It's been a few years since the Steelers were one of the worst Caste teams, which is why they're no longer dubbed the Crawfords as we called them for a long time. They're just an average NFL team demographically, maybe even a little bit above average.

I agree. They have a good offensive line, one of the best quarterbacks of all time and a few defensive monsters. Thinks could be alot worse. Just look at other teams.

Also thanks Don. I didn't realise they are up to 6 and sometimes 7 starters. It's still sad as we root for teams all the time with under a 50% starters level from our guys. We don't have a choice but it's frustrating. I hope little by little more
of the fans, scouts, coach's and owners give more of our athletes a chance.

Unfortunately in this Year of BLM and endless guilt-mongering about non-existent "systemic racism" it always looked like it was going to be a bleak football season and it has been for the most part. When White men have been all but eliminated from advertising and other forms of media and entertainment it was obvious that the NFL wasn't going to let up. But I love seeing how White linebackers almost always make big impacts when given a chance, and there's a bunch of tight ends and a dwindling amount of receivers to root for along with no shortage of great quarterbacks. We're back to rooting for individuals players as there aren't any teams deviating more than a little from the Caste norm currently.

Same with the Dolphins. During the Joe Philbin/Jeff Ireland/Mike Tannenbaum reign of terror, they were dubbed the Mozambique Dolphins around here. They even had a 5/5 sumo Oline during those years. Like the Steelers, they're probably an average NFL team now in terms of demographics. I think the thing we have to worry about is this sumo trend because that seems to be the biggest threat for our guys getting starting roles.
