2019 Washington State Cougars

Since 2007, Washington State have started 8, 9, 8, 11, 13, 13, 10, 8, 9, 7 and 7 white starters, excluding 2014 where no write-up was done. They drop down to a very disappointing 4 in 2019.

Max Borghi is really the only bright sport on a very disappointing team. Hopefully some of the white athletes emerge from lower on the depth chart. Another west coast team bringing in polys.

Players to look out for include QB Gage Gurbud, RB Clay Markoff, RB Cole Dubots, WR Billy Pospisil III, DE Karson Block, LB Dillon Sherman, OLB Tristan Brock. They do have a preferred walk on CB - William Overstreet - he redshirted in 2018.

RB Clay Markoff is #2 on the depth chart but has an “OR” under his name. Would be nice and unusual to see a 1-2 punch of white RB’s.

Obviously cheering for Borghi but disappointed in the starting numbers for Wazzou. I expect them to have 8-12 starters every year.
